St Cyprian's School is an independent Anglican day and weekly‑boarding school for girls on Gorge Road, Oranjezicht, Cape Town, organised as Pre‑Preparatory (Grade 000 to R), Preparatory (Grade 1–7) and High School (Grade 8–12), serving approximately ages 3 to 18. The High School offers two senior academic streams: the Independent Examinations Board (IEB) programme and the Cambridge International AS/A Level route, with the IEB used from early grades and the option to transfer to Cambridge at the end of Grade 10. English is the language of instruction (Home Language), with Afrikaans and isiXhosa offered as additional languages and other languages such as French available in the curriculum. Notable on‑site provisions include a chapel (with a pipe organ), a substantial music department (ABRSM and Trinity examination centre), performing‑arts and visual‑arts facilities, weekly boarding at Katherine House (about 55 pupils) and an outdoor‑focused Pre‑Preparatory campus (“School‑in‑the‑Woods”). The school is a Round Square member and runs international exchanges and service programmes alongside its academic offer.
