The International School of Cape Town (ISCT) is a private Cambridge school based in Claremont, Cape Town, operating across two campuses (Struben House for Early Years/Key Stage 1 and Woodland Heights for Key Stage 2, Key Stage 3 and High School). ISCT delivers the Cambridge curriculum from Cambridge Early Years and Primary through Cambridge Lower Secondary, Cambridge IGCSE and Cambridge International AS & A Level, and serves children from Nursery (3 years 6 months) through to the end of A‑levels (around 18 years). The language of instruction is English, with support for learners from diverse language backgrounds. Additional languages taught include Afrikaans, Xhosa, French and Spanish: in Years 3–4 pupils study one South African language (Afrikaans or Xhosa) and one European language (French or Spanish), and from Year 5 pupils choose French, Spanish or Afrikaans to continue to IGCSE. Notable facilities and features include purpose‑built Early Years classrooms and a 500‑year‑old yellowwood tree at Struben House, terraced gardens at Woodland Heights, access to on‑ and off‑campus sports facilities, specialist drama and music teachers, and a programme of project‑based learning in middle years.
