The German International School Cape Town (DSK) is a bilingual international school based in Cape Town with its main campus in Tamboerskloof and a satellite campus in Tygerberg/Parow. DSK delivers both the German and South African curricula across Grades 1–12 (ages 6–18), operating German and English streams: the Primary School is taught in German with intensive English from Grade 2, while from Grade 5 learners may join either the German Stream (preparing for the German International Abitur alongside the South African National Senior Certificate) or the English Stream (NSC with German as a foreign language). The school publishes a strong emphasis on STEM and on arts and culture, and lists facilities including a STEM centre, Sci‑Tech lab, multimedia library, Gisela Lange Music Centre, art rooms, auditorium, sports halls, multipurpose sports fields and a swimming pool. Language choices in middle years include Afrikaans, isiXhosa and French. DSK also highlights extracurricular and community projects as part of its programme.
