Elkanah House is a co‑educational independent (private) school based in the Blouberg/Sunningdale area of Cape Town, operating three campuses (Sunningdale Preparatory and Senior Preparatory, Blouberg Preparatory and a High School campus). The school follows the South African Independent Examinations Board (IEB) curriculum and presents a values‑led Christian ethos as part of its programme. It offers continuous provision from Grade 000 through Grade 12 (pre‑primary intake from around age 3 and through to matric), with over 1 400 pupils across the campuses. Instruction is in English (the school notes English as a Home Language option) and Afrikaans is offered among Matric subjects. Notable facilities and provision published on the school site include a dedicated Siyenza Zone for coding, robotics, design and technology at the Sunningdale campus, and a range of curricular and co‑curricular offerings in arts, music, dance, drama, sport and enrichment activities. The school emphasises integration of technology, global competencies and character formation alongside academic study.
