Bridge House School is an independent, co-educational day and boarding school on the Waterval Farm campus in Franschhoek, Western Cape. It offers early years provision (Playschool and Pre‑Primary for children aged about 2–6), a Preparatory phase (Grades 1–7) and a College (Grades 8–12) culminating in the Independent Examinations Board (IEB) National Senior Certificate. English is the language of instruction; Afrikaans and isiXhosa are taught as first additional languages and French and German are offered as second additional language options at senior levels. The school provides boarding for pupils from Grade 6 through Matric and runs a 1:1 device programme (devices introduced from the Prep years; laptops required in the College). Notable campus facilities described by the school include a dedicated Maths & Science centre, Innovation Hub and Learning Commons with digital fabrication and robotics, three IT centres, a 600‑seat theatre, art studios, music and drama rooms, an indoor sports gymnasium, a 25m pool, a water‑based astroturf hockey pitch, cricket ovals, tennis courts and a Garden Farm used in curricular work. Bridge House is a member of Round Square and offers co‑curricular awards and leadership programmes.
