Bishops Diocesan College is an independent Anglican boys' school on the Rondebosch campus in Cape Town, operating Pre-Prep, Prep and College divisions (Grade N/Reception through Grade 12) and serving boys aged 5 to 18. The school follows the South African curriculum through the preparatory and senior grades and publishes National Senior Certificate (Matric) results, while also offering a Cambridge International Advanced programme (AS and A Levels) in the senior years. English is the language of instruction; Afrikaans, isiXhosa and French are taught across the school (with Afrikaans/isiXhosa as First Additional Language options and French/IGCSE options in the senior phases). The campus publishes an extensive range of sporting and indoor facilities — including multiple rugby and cricket fields, an astro-turf hockey pitch, seven tennis courts, an eight-lane 25 m pool, an international waterpolo pool, indoor sports and squash courts, rowing and water-sport provision at Zeekoeivlei — and operates a house system with day and boarding houses as part of its pastoral provision.
