International School of Bucharest is a non-profit day school delivering a British-style education from early years through IB Diploma Programme. Founded in 1996, the school moved to a purpose-built campus in Bucharest's eastern district in 2008, providing facilities and a community geared to international families. The curriculum blends Cambridge IGCSE for Years 10–11 with Cambridge Secondary and the Cambridge Lower Curriculum for Key Stages 3, alongside International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme for Years 12–13. English is the language of instruction. The Primary School follows the English National Curriculum for ages 2–11, while KS3 uses the National Curriculum framework for many subjects. ISB is IB World School and is accredited by the Council of International Schools since 2012. Facilities include dedicated ICT, Music, Drama and Art rooms, a Theatre and science laboratories, plus an indoor sports hall and outdoor facilities.
