Grades in grade 10 use a scale from 1 (very good) to 6 (insufficient). The grade 10 curriculum includes German; French for beginners and advanced; English; Romanian as mother tongue and as foreign language; mathematics; biology; chemistry; physics; history; civic culture; geography; ethics; visual and practical arts; music; and physical education, with a one-week internship offered for grade 10. Language Provision

DSBU is officially recognized as a German School Abroad by the German Foreign Office (ZfA) and is a member of the World Federation of German Schools Abroad (WDA); it is the only school in Romania that follows entirely the German curriculum and holds these accreditations.
