Admissions

Admissions

1. Apply online. Parents submit an online application through the TNG admission portal. The Registrar reviews the submission and forwards it to the Ministry PRO for verification in the National Student Information System. Additional information, if requested, is communicated to the parents. The process aligns with MoEHE regulations.

2. Entrance assessment and outcome. An entrance assessment is scheduled after the initial review. The candidate completes the assessment, and the faculty reviews the results. Parents are informed of the outcome within 3-5 working days. If the candidate meets the entrance criteria, an admission offer is issued; otherwise the parents are informed accordingly.

3. Documents and eligibility. Documentation required for candidates includes copies of a valid Qatar ID, passport, birth certificate, two passport-sized photographs, and the most recent term report card. A School Leaving Certificate and a Transfer Certificate are required where applicable, along with vaccination and health records. For transfers, documents must be attested as required by regulations. The candidate must pass the entrance assessment, hold valid Qatar ID, and meet prior schooling requirements; availability of seats and MoEHE criteria also apply.

4. Age criteria and priority admissions. Age is determined by MoEHE per year group, with the cut-off date 30 September; exceptions apply until 31 December for KG1, KG2, and Year 1. TNG offers priority admissions to siblings of current students and to candidates from British or Cambridge curricula; however all applicants undergo the full admission process, including assessment. Availability of seats governs final placement, and MoEHE approval may be required for admission.

5. Enrollment and fees after offer. Upon receiving an offer and accepting it, a seat reservation fee for the upcoming academic session is required; the fee is non-refundable and is credited toward the tuition for the next term. All other fees (tuition, transport, and supplementary fees) are invoiced in advance and must be paid by the due date. The registration/admission fee is non-refundable. Report cards are issued after dues are cleared, and a School Leaving Certificate is issued once all outstanding dues are paid; the seat remains secured upon payment of the seat reservation fee.
