Middle East International School (MIS) is a private, co‑educational, college‑preparatory PK–12 school in Doha, Qatar. The school follows an American curriculum aligned with Common Core State Standards and California standards and serves early years through high school (KG1 begins at age four and the school extends through Grade 12, ages through the end of secondary). English is the medium of instruction for all lessons except language and religion classes; Arabic (as first language and as a second language), Arabic for non‑speakers, French and Islamic Studies are taught separately and count toward Ministry requirements. MIS publishes facilities including a library, ICT labs and interactive whiteboards, fully equipped science laboratories, art and music rooms, a robotics room, a multi‑purpose hall and larger gymnasium, indoor/outdoor play areas, a lighted full‑size soccer field, cafeteria and an on‑site clinic. The programme includes ESL support, student support services, and a college‑preparatory high school offering Honors and Advanced Placement courses alongside extracurriculars such as Model United Nations, Robotics and Destination Imagination.
