History
Montealto School was founded on July 21, 1993 to provide primary education for younger students; on April 14, 1999, authorization was granted to extend educational services to secondary education. In June 1998, the Promotora de Desarrollo Educación y Cultura (Prodec) assumed governance of the School. Montealto was created by a group of education professionals who were aware of the educational needs of our country. Spiritual formation is entrusted to the prelature of Opus Dei.

Community
The female students at Montealto are in constant formation of their personality, acquiring traits from home education, the guidance of their tutors, the preceptor, and their own effort. They are bilingual; the school is a Cambridge English School. They are athletes, and participation in sports supports their physical and mental health, teaching them to win and lose with honor. Parent Teacher Association (PTA)

Admissions

Admissions
Admissions and transfers. If information about Colegio Montealto is desired, fill out the following form. The Admissions Department will send a link to schedule the applicant's evaluation (for students starting in Primary 2nd grade and up) and the family interview with the director of the corresponding institution. Process of admission: 1. Through the email provided in the initial form, two links will be sent to access the Enrollment Form and to attach documents in the Sieweb platform. 2. Once the Enrollment Form is filled in Sieweb, the admissions process begins formally; the Admissions Department will send a link to schedule the evaluation and the family interview. 3. As part of the evaluation, the applicant will spend a full school day at the Colegio and will take Mathematics, Language/Communication, and English assessments. The results of the assessments, whether passing or failing, will not be delivered, shown, or communicated to the family or applicant. 4. The result may be: Admitted; Not admitted; Waiting list. Explanations about the reasons for the decision will not be provided. Being on the Waiting List implies waiting for a vacancy due to the withdrawal of a student or admitted applicant; the Admissions Department will inform families on the waiting list about vacancy availability. 5. The admissions process lasts approximately 30 business days, and may be longer depending on how long the family takes to complete each required step. 6. Submitting the Enrollment Form in Sieweb implies acceptance of all the conditions and procedures described in this document.

Parents or guardians have the right to a scholarship. Law No. 23585 and its Regulation state that students of private schools and private universities who lose their parents or guardians have the right to a scholarship.
