The International School (TIS) in Karachi offers education for students aged 3 to 18. The school delivers the IB continuum—PYP, MYP and DP—alongside the British National Curriculum in the early years. In addition, Cambridge IGCSE/O-Levels provide an alternative pathway delivered through Cambridge and Edexcel boards. Established in 1996, TIS was the first school in Pakistan to offer IB programmes, with MYP authorization in 1996 and DP authorization in 2001; Cambridge IGCSE began in 2004. The Diploma Programme supports students through the option to pursue the IB Diploma or participate as Diploma Course candidates, with the Core Programme (Extended Essay, Theory of Knowledge and Creativity, Activity and Service) available to Diploma Course students. A college advisory service supports higher education planning. Drama is offered as an extracurricular, while sport and events such as swimming galas and a sports day promote teamwork and wellbeing.
