Introduction

Foundation Public School was established in 1981 with 12 students and has grown into a network of 11 campuses in Karachi and Hyderabad. The school describes itself as a private O and A Level institution, with Elementary, Junior, Senior and A Level sections. Its academic programme includes STEAM, literacy and language development, co-curricular learning, art, craft, drama, Spark and Mindfulness activities. FPS also has a wide sports programme, including athletics, badminton, basketball, cricket, football, rowing, table tennis and throwball. A distinctive feature is the FPS Premier League, an intra-school, inter-house tournament where Jinnah, Iqbal and Liaquat houses compete for the Sports Trophy. The school also runs community service work, including Save Our Zoo, Adopt an Animal and Go Green campaigns involving tree planting, recycling, composting, clean-up drives and water conservation. Student clubs include Arts and Crafts, Digital and Drama, with elected student leadership roles.
