Billing schedule and payment terms

- Regular billing: fees are payable monthly in advance and are due on the 1st day of every month.
- Late payment: a 10% late payment penalty is applied if fees are not paid on or before the 15th of the following month.
- Application-related payments: application forms can be purchased at the school cash counter.

Per‑term and per‑year (calculated illustrations from the published monthly rates)

- The fee schedule lists monthly tuition rates. The school's published calendar/year planner shows an academic cycle that is billed monthly during the active school months. Using the published monthly rates and a common 10‑month billing cycle for an academic year, annual and per‑term illustrative totals are calculated as follows (these totals are derived from the monthly rates and are presented as calculated examples):

- Foundation 1 & 2 (1st child):
- Annual (illustrative): OMR 77 × 10 = OMR 770.
- Per term (illustrative, three terms): OMR 770 ÷ 3 ≈ OMR 256.67.

- Year 1 – Year 9 (1st child):
- Annual (illustrative): OMR 79 × 10 = OMR 790.
- Per term (illustrative): OMR 790 ÷ 3 ≈ OMR 263.33.

- Year 10 & Year 11 (1st child):
- Annual tuition (illustrative): OMR 85 × 10 = OMR 850.
- Annual laboratory fee for science students (illustrative): OMR 4 × 10 = OMR 40 (so combined illustrative annual total for a science student = OMR 890).
- Per term (illustrative): OMR 850 ÷ 3 ≈ OMR 283.33 (lab fee apportioned separately as applicable).

- Year 12 (1st child):
- Annual (illustrative): OMR 138 × 10 = OMR 1,380.
- Per term (illustrative): OMR 1,380 ÷ 3 ≈ OMR 460.

- Year 13 (1st child):
- The published fee schedule specifies that Year 13 tuition is charged only for seven months (September – March). Therefore the Year 13 illustrative annual tuition = OMR 138 × 7 = OMR 966.

- Note: the per‑term and per‑year figures above are calculated examples based on the published monthly amounts and a 10‑month illustrative billing cycle; the fee document itself lists monthly rates and explicitly specifies Year 13 months charged. The fee document does not publish fixed per‑term totals, which is why these per‑term and per‑year figures are presented as calculations based on the published monthly rates.

Boarding / hostel fees

- Boarding is not listed in the published fee structure. No boarding/hostel fees are specified in the fee structure document. (SLSM operates as a day school in its published materials; boarding fees are therefore not applicable.)

Other costs and typical additional charges

- The published fee structure does not include explicit amounts for uniforms, textbooks, transport (school bus), examination or assessment charges, medical insurance, extracurricular activity charges, or school lunches. These items are commonly charged separately by schools; the fee schedule document only lists the items and amounts described above. Parents should plan for uniform and book costs and any transport or activity fees that may be charged in addition to the fees shown.

Refund information

- The refundable deposit amount is listed as OMR 230 (per student). That deposit is explicitly labeled refundable in the published fee schedule. The fee schedule document does not provide further detailed conditions or procedures for refunds within the fee table itself.

Fee payment options and practical notes

- The fee document specifies monthly billing and due dates but does not list accepted payment channels (for example, bank transfer, credit card, or online payment) within the fee table. Application forms are available for purchase at the school cash counter. Where specific payment channels are required (bank transfer, card, in‑person cash), those arrangements are managed by the school administration and are not itemized in the published fee schedule.
