Introduction

The school follows a Bespoke Curriculum tailored to its students' needs. The campus comprises one elementary unit, two middle-school units (girls and boys), and two high-school units (girls and boys), allowing age-segregated progression. It offers programs in humanities, science, and mathematics-physics, with support from the Government of Iran, notably the Ministry of Education and the Iranian Embassy in Oman. The complex meets very good standards in educational services and facilities. Enrollment grew from 14 students at inception (1384) to about 280 across levels in 1399-1400. Extracurricular activities include Quranic studies, cultural activities, arts, and sports, with ceremonies honoring top achievements and announcements of celebrations.

Fees

Annual tuition at Iranian School Muscat ranges from OMR 600 to OMR 800 for 2026/27.

Application / registration fees
- No separate, named application fee is published for the current registration cycle. Parents are required to pay the required portion of tuition at the time of registration (see Billing schedule).
- In prior registration practice a pre‑registration/advance deposit of OMR 200 was collected to secure a place; where used this deposit was applied toward the tuition balance.

Tuition fees by year group (annual and per‑payment breakdowns)
- Primary (Elementary): OMR 600 per year. Under the published payment terms 70% is payable at registration (OMR 420) and the remaining 30% may be deferred as allowed by the school (OMR 180).
- Lower secondary (Middle school): OMR 700 per year. Split 70% at registration (OMR 490) and 30% deferred (OMR 210).
- Upper secondary (High school): OMR 800 per year. Split 70% at registration (OMR 560) and 30% deferred (OMR 240).

Billing schedule and payment terms
- Seventy percent (70%) of the annual tuition is required at the time of registration. The remainder may be paid by providing a post‑dated cheque under the school's published deadlines (the school accepts deferred payment by cheque to cover the balance). Failure to attend the assigned registration or to settle the tuition as required is treated as withdrawal and the school may release the place to another applicant.
- Historical practice for some registration cycles included a pre‑registration payment (OMR 200) applied toward the total tuition; where that practice applies the balance was collected in subsequent instalments.

Boarding fees
- No boarding provision or boarding fee schedule is listed for the school; the school is organised as day units (primary and separate middle/secondary units). No boarding charges apply.

Other costs and mandatory items
- Uniform: Use of the school uniform is mandatory. Uniform items and colours are specified by year group; the school does not deal exclusively with any single uniform supplier and parents may purchase uniforms from any vendor. Additional costs for buying the uniform are borne by parents.
- Medical/health certificates: Medical checks (hearing, vision and heart/lung clearance) are required for registration; any fees for examinations or medical certificates are payable by parents.
- Textbooks and student insurance: Textbook provision and student insurance are arranged in coordination with parents and are billed separately (parents should expect separate charges for books and compulsory student insurance).
- Miscellaneous: Any other specific activity, examination, transport or cafeteria charges are handled as separate items and may be billed in addition to tuition when applicable; parents should plan for additional incidental costs.

Refunds and cancellations
- No separate refund schedule is published. Failure to appear for registration or failure to settle required tuition on the published schedule is treated as withdrawal and the school may reassign the place; parents should therefore assume payments made at registration are applied to secure the student's place and are not automatically refundable.

Fee payment options
- Bank transfer / bank deposit to the school's bank account is the standard payment route; the school publishes an account at Bank Muscat for tuition receipts. Cash payments are not accepted for tuition; all financial transactions are processed through the school's bank account. Post‑dated cheques are accepted where the school's payment terms allow deferred settlement. No credit‑card or online card payment method is published.

If you need these fee values presented in another currency or broken down by specific school grades (for example Grade 1, Grade 2, etc.), those are straightforward conversions based on the OMR amounts above.
