- Enrolment Fee (Domestic students, Years 1–15): NZD 2,400. This fee is required to confirm acceptance of any place offered, is additional to tuition, and is not refundable.
- Enrolment Fee (International students): NZD 2,200. This fee is additional to tuition and is not refundable. Note: the combined total of Registration Fee + Enrolment Fee is NZD 2,700 for both Domestic and International students.

Billing schedule and payment terms
- Frequency: Tuition fees may be paid for the full year or by term. Monthly payment arrangements are available in some cases (see automatic payment option below).
- Full-year discount (New Zealand students): A 2% discount applies if the full year's tuition is paid in full by the due date; course fees are discounted 2% if paid by 15 January for Term 1, or for Terms 2–4 if paid by 3:00 pm on the first day of that term.
- International students: A discount of 8% applies if the full year's fees are paid by 15 December in the preceding year. A full year's fees must be paid before tuition begins. Fees for students who begin during the school year are adjusted pro rata according to terms attended; students starting in Terms 3 & 4 must enrol and pay tuition fees for the following year at the time of enrolment.
- Late payment penalty: If fees are not paid in full within 30 days after the due date, interest is charged at 20% per annum on the outstanding amount.
- Automatic monthly payment option: An alternative is 10 monthly equal payments by automatic payment starting in February and finishing in November. Parents must notify the Bursar (by 20 January) to use this option; the late-penalty rules still apply if payments fall into arrears. Monthly payment plans can also be arranged by applying for a Credit Account before fees are due (no discount applies to monthly plans).

Boarding fees
- Boarding is not provided as a standard part of the school's provision; there are no listed boarding fees. (The school operates an online/full-time Cambridge programme with occasional in-person attendance required for practical subjects and examinations.)

- International students (tuition): If an international student withdraws before starting, a refund of prepaid tuition will be made less a deduction of 25% to cover the school's commitment to the first term of tuition. No other refunds are made.

1) New Zealand citizens or residents (domestic students): Complete the domestic student application form and submit it with the NZ$300 application fee. If a vacancy matches, the family will be invited to visit the school for an interview. The school will notify within one week whether the application has been accepted, and if accepted, arrangements are made to begin the transition to ATEA College. 2) Enrolment and fees for domestic students: To confirm acceptance, pay the Enrolment Fee of NZ$2,400 in addition to the NZ$300 Registration Fee. These fees are not refundable. Domestic fees offer options: payment by cash or direct credit; a 2% discount if the year's fees are paid by the due date; and monthly payments can be arranged with a Credit Account. 3) International Students: Complete the International Student Application Form and submit it with the NZ$500 registration fee. If the application meets criteria, an interview and English test will be arranged (these can be conducted while the pupil is in their home country). If successful, a place is offered and International Students pay the Enrolment and Tuition Fees; after payments are received the documents required for Immigration New Zealand for a Student Visa are issued. Travel and medical insurance is provided for international students. 4) Provisional enrolment and final confirmation: All new enrolments are provisional for one term. The provisional status is confirmed once attendance, engagement in class work, and adherence to the school's rules and uniform code are satisfactory. Final confirmation is issued before extending beyond the provisional term.
