Salto International School - RISE

Salto International School is an international primary school in the Netherlands that welcomes children aged 4 to 12 who are temporarily living in Eindhoven. The school follows a bilingual hybrid curriculum, delivering 50% of lessons in English and 50% in Dutch, and uses the International Primary Curriculum (IPC) alongside the International Early Years Curriculum (IEYC) to frame learning with a global perspective. English literacy is taught daily, and language instruction totals 10–15 hours per week to support fluent communication in both languages. Mathematics is taught in both Dutch and English, merging Dutch outcomes with themes from the UK National Curriculum. Instruction and assessment link language learning to IEYC/IPC projects, supporting international goals and citizenship development. The IPC personal goals underpin the social-emotional offering, helping students develop collaboration, resilience, and curiosity within a supportive bilingual community. The approach prepares children for continued international study while rooted in the Dutch context today.
