Billing schedule and payment terms

- Standard billing schedule: tuition is billed in four payments across the academic year. Recent published payment dates (example schedule shown on the school's fee page) were: 1st payment due by 13 August; 2nd payment due by 11 October; 3rd payment due by 16 January; 4th payment due by 14 March. Payments correspond to the four instalments referenced above.
- Late payment policy: a late payment charge of 3% is applied to any quarterly payment not received by its due date, increasing to 4% on the following month. Instruction may be withheld if fees remain unpaid after four weeks of attendance until outstanding fees are cleared or other arrangements are agreed with the Business Office.

Boarding fees

- Boarding: no boarding programme or boarding fees are published for Thalun International School; the school's fee information and programme descriptions do not list boarding fees or boarding accommodation.

Other costs and recurring additional fees

- Uniforms: sold separately and charged in addition to tuition.
- Annual or occasional trips: the secondary “Week Without Walls” experiential trip carries an additional fee; the cost is calculated based on destination and number of participants and is charged separately.
- Extracurricular / activity fees, learning support or EAL/ESL support, and other one‑off charges may apply where required; third‑party published schedules list specific additional charges by service but those items are billed separately from core tuition.

Sibling discounts and special fee support

- Sibling discounts: the eldest child pays full tuition; the second child receives a 5% discount; the third child and above receive a 50% discount on tuition.

Refund information

- Refund policy: a specific general refund policy for tuition or deposits is not published on the school's public fees page. The enrollment deposit is described as deductible from the annual tuition fee for new students; other refund conditions are not published in the school's public fee summary.

Accepted payment methods and payment instructions

- Accepted methods: cash in US dollars or Myanmar Kyats; bank transfer in US dollars or Myanmar Kyats (the sender is responsible for any sending/receiving bank charges).
