Governance and Ownership

The school is part of UPAEP and is incorporated into SEP. It operates under an RVOE agreement SEP-4.2.1.2-DEP/10020/10 dated August 10, 2010.
Fees
Application / registration fee (Inscripción)
- A one‑time annual inscription is required at enrollment. This payment is mandatory for all admitted students and covers the annual charges that are not billed monthly (inscripción, seguro de vida del tutor, seguro de accidentes personales del estudiante, cuota SEP, cuota de padres de familia and similar annual items).

Tuition (Colegiaturas) — amounts by year group and per term
- Tuition is charged as monthly colegiaturas and is established per plantel; monthly amounts may vary between UPAEP campuses and by the specific program components (for example an IB program component when applicable). Typical examples observed for UPAEP preparatorias show monthly colegiaturas in the range of several thousand pesos, with annual totals (ten monthly payments) that vary by campus. Specific monthly and annual amounts are set by each plantel and applied to all year groups enrolled at that plantel.
- Structure by academic year / term:
- The academic year is billed as 10 monthly colegiaturas: 5 monthly payments for the Otoño period (September–January) and 5 monthly payments for the Primavera period (February–June). Each month started is billed in full. The college-style division means the same colegiatura schedule applies to all year groups (1st through last year); some one‑time annual charges are higher in the final year to cover certification and graduation costs.

Billing schedule and payment terms
- Due date: each monthly colegiatura must be paid within the first 17 natural days of the month. Payments made after that date incur a monthly penalty.
- Late charge: a 3% monthly surcharge is applied to overdue balances; this surcharge is not condonable. Repeated non‑payment (three unpaid colegiaturas) may result in suspension of educational services and other collection actions.
- Prepayment discounts: a discount is available for advance payment of the full academic cycle when paid within the institutional deadlines; students already receiving other discounts or scholarships may not be eligible for the prepayment discount.
- Facturación: invoices (CFDI) are issued automatically once the payment is reflected; first‑time requesters must register fiscal data with the plantel to receive electronic invoices. Payments for prior months cannot be invoiced retroactively.

Boarding / residential fees
- Prepa UPAEP Angelópolis operates as a day (presencial) preparatory campus; residential or boarding services are not provided at this plantel. Therefore no boarding/housing fees apply.

Other costs and recurring/one‑time fees
- Annual charges included in the inscription (paid in full at registration and not split monthly):
- Cuota de padres de familia (small annual association fee).
- Cuota SEP (administrative fee).
- Typical numerical examples for campus charges (examples observed across UPAEP preparatorias; these illustrate how costs are commonly packaged but exact amounts are fixed by plantel):
- Ejemplo de importe inicial (inscripción con cuotas anuales incluidas): MXN 13,375 (ejemplo práctico que corresponde al paquete inicial usado en inscripciones recientes en sedes del sistema). Some campuses report higher inscription amounts (for example, an inscription figure of MXN 15,990 has been published for other UPAEP preparatoria plantels). Monthly colegiatura examples observed at UPAEP preparatorias range from roughly MXN 5,750 per month (base) up to MXN 7,300 per month at some campuses; annual totals therefore vary by plantel.
- Other occasional or service costs (may be charged when applicable): replacement student ID, certificates, exam fees, extracurricular trips, campamentos, transport or parking passes, locker rental, materials for specific projects or competitions. These services carry separate charges and are announced by the plantel when they apply.

Refund and cancellation policy
- Inscription refund: 100% of the inscription is refundable if cancellation is requested at least 60 calendar days before the start of classes; a 50% refund applies if cancellation is requested at least 30 calendar days before the start of classes. No refund of inscription is granted once classes have started.
- Prepaid tuition refund: when a student requests a definitive withdrawal before the end of a period and prepaid colegiaturas exist for months not yet devengados, the unused portion of prepaid colegiaturas is refundable subject to presentation of the original payment receipts; refund requests for credit balances must be made within the academic year in course. The plantel will not process refund requests without original payment documentation.

Fee payment options and administrative notes
- Accepted payment methods: cash (at designated banks using the plantel's reference), debit or credit card (Visa, Mastercard — and where enabled, American Express at some points of service), checks (subject to bank rules and penalties for returned checks), automatic domiciliation (charges to card or bank account), and electronic transfer using the CLABE provided by the plantel. Payment references generated by the school's payment system must be used exactly when paying by transfer.
- Returned‑cheque penalties and collection: returned checks carry bank sanctions and commissions and may trigger legal collection; overdue accounts may be referred to external collection agencies and, in some cases, reported to credit bureaus. The plantel's Tesorería can offer managed payment agreements in selected cases.

If you require the exact numeric values that will apply to a student at Prepa UPAEP Angelópolis (the plantel‑level inscription amount, the monthly colegiatura that will be billed for the specific year group and any IB or final‑year certification surcharges), the plantel publishes the circular of services and the plantel's payment instructions that specify those amounts and payment references.
