History

The Arjí School was founded in 1978 with an innovative vision to offer Tabasco society a holistic education through a pioneering program in Human Development and Social Service, becoming the first bilingual institution in the State of Tabasco. In 1988, we joined the International Baccalaureate Organization (IB), headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland, adopting the Diploma Programme for second- and third-year high school students. Currently, we are the first school in Tabasco and in southeastern Mexico to offer all three IB programmes, and we are part of a select group of 22 national schools out of 150 certified to offer all three IB programmes worldwide. With more than 45 years of service to the community, we are guided by our motto “Know thyself”, establishing ourselves as the best educational option in the State of Tabasco.
