Fees
Application / inscription fees

- Institutional registration (póliza de depósito de aportación) specifically for Bachillerato 5 de Mayo (new entrants, national students): MXN 700.00.
- Institutional registration for international (foreign) entrants to Bachillerato 5 de Mayo: USD 300.00 (published for the 2026 admission cycle).
- Aportación extraordinaria established by the unit (Bachillerato 5 de Mayo): MXN 550.00 (listed as the extraordinary contribution amount used in admissions documentation). The total amount shown on the payment slip equals the institutional registration fee plus this extraordinary contribution.

Tuition / recurring fees by year group (per term / per year)

- No regular per-term or per-year 'tuition' schedule is published for Bachillerato 5 de Mayo in the BUAP admissions and aportaciones materials used for registration. The documented, mandatory charges for new entrants are the institutional registration fee (see amounts above), the unit's extraordinary contribution, and the International Baccalaureate (IB) programme registration/examination charges for Diploma candidates. Ongoing semester- or term-level tuition amounts are not listed in the admissions fee documents.
- IB-related charges (matriculation / candidate / exam fees) apply to Diploma Programme students in addition to BUAP fees; these IB charges follow the rates set by the International Baccalaureate and are paid according to the programme registration schedule. The first IB payment is required as part of the admission/matriculation process for Diploma candidates.

Billing schedule and payment terms

- Registration payment window (example for the 2026 admission cycle): print the personalized payment slip (póliza) from the Autoservicios system and make the deposit during the announced payment window (deposit deadlines for recent cycles were in late July, with the usual final payment date on July 30). The payment slip contains the institutional registration amount plus any extraordinary contribution for the unit; payment must be made in the specified period to validate the inscription.
- Where to pay: the registration póliza is paid in person at the bank branches indicated on the póliza (recent admission instructions list HSBC, BBVA and Banorte as accepted banks for the deposit). The póliza is personalized and only one deposit per póliza is accepted.
- Payment is a required step of the admission process; failure to pay within the prescribed period renders the registration/inscription procedure invalid.

Boarding fees (if applicable)

- The International Baccalaureate school directory classifies Bachillerato 5 de Mayo with a 'BOARDING' regime for the IB listing; however, the BUAP admissions fee documents that define the registration / extraordinary contributions and where amounts are published do not include a published boarding-fee schedule for this bachillerato. No explicit boarding-fee amounts appear in the BUAP admission/aportaciones materials used for registration. Parents should note that any boarding arrangements and associated fees—if offered—are not itemized in the BUAP admission fee lists.

Other costs and fees

- Uniforms, textbooks, curricular materials, transport, extracurricular activities or similar student-cost items are not itemized in the BUAP admission / aportaciones documents used for registration. If a parent needs to plan for additional costs, the clearly documented mandatory items are the institutional registration fee, the unit's extraordinary contribution and IB programme charges (for Diploma candidates).
- IB Programme costs: Diploma candidates must pay IB matriculation/assessment fees as determined annually by the International Baccalaureate Organization; those fees are separate from BUAP payments and are charged per the IB's published rates and the school's IB registration schedule. The Convocatoria requires the first IB payment in advance of formal inscription.

Refund information

- Registration (póliza) payments for inscription are non‑refundable and non‑transferable: the admission instructions explicitly state there will be no refunds of the registration fees nor transfers to third parties. This no‑refund rule applies to the registration póliza payment described in the admission procedures.
- No separate refund schedule for other potential charges (e.g., IB fees, boarding, materials) is published in the BUAP admission/aportaciones materials referenced for registration; IB-specific refund or cancellation policies are governed by the IB Organization and/or the school's IB administrative procedures.

Fee payment options

- Documented payment channel for the registration póliza: deposit in person at the bank branches specified on the póliza (recent admission guidance lists HSBC, BBVA and Banorte as accepted banks). Generate and print the personalized póliza from the Autoservicios system before paying.
- IB programme payments follow the school's IB registration process and the IB Organization's payment methods; the Convocatoria requires proof of the initial IB payment as part of the admission paperwork.

Key amounts (summary)

- Institutional registration (Bachillerato 5 de Mayo, national entrants): MXN 700.00.
- Institutional registration (Bachillerato 5 de Mayo, foreign entrants): USD 300.00 (2026 admission cycle reporting).
- Aportación extraordinaria (listed for Bachillerato 5 de Mayo in the 2025 aportaciones document): MXN 550.00. The total payable on the póliza equals institutional registration + aportación extraordinaria where applicable.
