Refund Policy
Tuition and Fees:
All school fees must be paid within 10 days of the start of each semester.
Fees are non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstance, including withdrawal or non-attendance.

Security Deposit:
A refundable security deposit equal to two semesters’ fees is required upon enrolment.

This deposit will only be refunded if:
There are no outstanding payments.
The student has caused no harm, damage, or breakage.
A written withdrawal notice is provided at least one full academic semester in advance.
If the student fails to attend after accepting the offer, the deposit is forfeited.
Refunds will be issued only to the billing party and must be claimed within one year after the student leaves the school.

Withdrawal Notice:
Must be given in writing (in-person or AR Registered Post).
Must be received one full academic semester in advance to avoid deposit forfeiture.

Loss of Seat:
If a student does not join within a month after enrolment, the seat may be forfeited along with any paid fees.

Discretionary Clauses:
The school reserves the right to remove students or guardians who disrupt school operations, in which case, no refunds will be issued and deposits will be forfeited.

Fairview International School Ipoh was opened in 2017 as part of the Fairview Education Group, a Malaysia-based network of IB schools that began in 1978 in Kuala Lumpur. The Ipoh campus was developed to extend Fairview’s IB offerings into northern Malaysia and is part of a network with campuses in Penang, Johor Bahru, Subang, Kuala Lumpur, and Edinburgh, Scotland. In 2019, the Ipoh branch achieved official authorization as an IB World School, delivering the Primary Years Programme (PYP) and Middle Years Programme (MYP). Admissions

Admissions
Online Application. Families complete the online application form and submit required documents (birth certificate/passport, ID documents, previous school transcripts, photos).

Application Fee Payment. Pay the non‑refundable RM 1,000 application fee via the designated payment channels.

Placement Test & Interview. Once the application is received, students sit for an entrance/placement test and participate in an interview with admissions staff (students) and/or parents.

Offer of Place. Successful applicants receive an Offer Letter, usually within a week of the testing, contingent on seat availability. The offer is secured by paying the enrolment fee, refundable deposit, and tuition.

Enrollment & Start. Upon payment of all fees and completion of documentation, the student is officially enrolled and provided the school calendar and orientation details.
