History
Alnoor International School traces its origins to the vision of Dr. Mahmoud and the late Dr. Yassin Yahya Yassin in early 2007 to provide English-medium education in Kuala Lumpur. The school opened on a 1,700 m² campus on Jalan Damai in mid-2007 and was inaugurated in July 2007 with 70 students from 12 nationalities, offering Preschool 1 to IG 1 with Western-style education (IGCSE) and Arabic values. It relocated in 2011 to Jalan Bellamy on a 1.3-acre campus with a swimming pool and sports field, enabling growth to 300 students by 2013 and expansion to 600 after acquiring neighboring premises in 2013. In 2014 a Cambridge Assessment Center for Primary was established and the institution was renamed Alnoor International Schools; by 2019 the student body represented 46 nationalities across campuses. During 2020–2022 AIS adopted hybrid learning due to the pandemic, and in 2024 it rebranded as AIS International School, continuing to foster intercultural understanding and preparing students for success in an interconnected world.

Step 1: Admission Guideline. Prepare the following documents for upload: the previous year's transcript, a copy of the child's IC or passport, a visa (if available), and the application fee. Documentation related to medical or special education accommodations can be uploaded as applicable. Nominate the child's current or most recent teacher to serve as a reference, and the admissions team will contact the reference directly.
