Introduction

Vilnius Žemynos Gymnasium is a municipal secondary school in Vilnius offering a four-year gymnasium program with two stages: a two-year basic education phase and a two-year upper secondary phase. The school combines Bespoke Curriculum with Cambridge IGCSE, Cambridge International AS Levels, and Cambridge A Levels, enabling students to pursue international qualifications within a Lithuanian framework. Its curriculum covers Lithuanian and foreign languages, mathematics, information technologies, physics, chemistry, biology, history, and geography, with modules to deepen learning and address gaps. A third foreign language can be studied (Japanese, Italian, French, German, or Russian). The gymnasium runs non-formal education and a range of clubs and sports, including applied arts, dance, a youth mixed choir, theatre, design, yearbook editors, environmental studies, information technologies, foreign languages, and team sports; the Jovaras brass band is a distinctive ensemble. Fees
Application fees
- There is no application or enrolment fee charged for admission to Vilnius Žemynos Gymnasium (municipal/state general education school).

Tuition fees by year group (per term / per year)
- There is no tuition charge for instruction in Vilnius Žemynos Gymnasium for any year group covered by state/municipal general education (pre‑primary, primary, basic and secondary levels). Instruction at state and municipal general education schools is provided free of charge. (Therefore no per‑term or per‑year tuition applies.)

Billing schedule and payment terms (paid services only)
- The gymnasium does not bill tuition; billing applies only to paid, optional services (for example: meals where the pupil is not eligible for free meals, non‑formal / extracurricular activities, educational trips, paid after‑school provision when offered).
- Meal fees and other municipal service fees are normally charged per attended day or per service period as defined by Vilnius City payment rules; payment records and receipts are issued through the Vilnius municipal education payment system. Parents typically receive and pay monthly payment notices (payment deadlines commonly follow the municipal payment schedule; many Vilnius institutions require payments for the previous month to be settled by a stated monthly deadline).

Boarding fees
- Boarding is not offered by Vilnius Žemynos Gymnasium; there are no boarding or internat fees for this school (the school operates as a day school).

Other costs and fees (typical items parents should expect)
- School meals: where a pupil is not eligible for municipal free meal provisions, a daily meal fee applies (charged per attended day).
- Extracurricular / non‑formal activities: some after‑school clubs, non‑formal courses and external providers may carry fees (these are billed separately and follow the payment and receipt procedures set by Vilnius municipal rules).
- Educational trips and excursions: costs for school trips, camps or out‑of‑school educational activities are usually charged to parents for those activities that are optional or extra to the state curriculum.
- Learning materials and personal supplies: parents are expected to provide personal learning supplies (exercise books, pens, calculators, sports clothing, etc.); such items are not billed as tuition but are a routine family expense. The school's internal rules specify that pupils must have individual learning materials.
- Uniform / dress code: there is no mandatory everyday school uniform; a dress code applies and the school requires wearing the gymnasium uniform for official ceremonies — parents should expect to provide appropriate clothing for regular lessons and a uniform for events if required.

Refunds, reductions and social support
- Meal and service fee adjustments: municipal rules provide for fee reductions or adjustments in specific circumstances (for example, reductions for days a child does not attend and provisions for social support or free meals for eligible children). Refunds or reductions are handled according to Vilnius City procedures for charges for pupil meals and other paid services.

Fee payment options
- Payments for municipal school services (meals, non‑formal activities, etc.) are processed via the Vilnius municipal education payment system (svietimas.vilnius.lt), which supports electronic payment workflows and issues electronic receipts. Parents commonly pay via internet banking / bank transfer through that system; guidance and electronic payment instructions for specific payments are provided through the municipal payment interface. Some schools/contractors may offer additional electronic payment methods for specific paid services.

Practical summary for parents
- No application fee; no tuition per term or year for any grade at the gymnasium.
- Expect to pay only for optional/paid items: meals (if not eligible for free provision), extracurricular activities, trips, and personal learning materials. These paid items are billed and collected through the Vilnius municipal payment procedures and schedules.
