Fees

Annual tuition at Vilnius Private Gymnasium ranges from EUR 5,880 to EUR 10,200 for 2026/27.

Application and entrance/test fees

- Entrance / testing fee (applicable to admission testing for places such as IB, Grade 5, Grade 9): EUR 150 per candidate.

Advance / deposit on signing

- Advance deposit required at contract signing: EUR 500. This advance payment is credited against the annual tuition. Deadlines for paying the advance are specified in the admission stages for each intake (examples: by March/May dates during the admission period). For the IB Diploma admission the deposit is described as refundable in that programme's admissions document; for other entrance processes the advance deposit language includes that if families "decide otherwise" the advance may be non-refundable.

Tuition fees by programme / school stage (monthly rates)

- Preschool / pre‑kindergarten (ikimokyklinis / priešmokyklinis): EUR 490 per month (note: this figure is shown with a state compensation of EUR 120).

- Primary school (pradinė pakopa, Grades 1–4): EUR 690 per month.

- Lower/Basic school (pagrindinė pakopa, Grades 5–8): EUR 690 per month.

- Upper school / Gymnasium (general gimnazija years): EUR 690 per month.

- International Baccalaureate (IB Diploma, final 2 years, age 16–19): EUR 730 per month.

- Double Diploma (National plus International parallel programme): EUR 850 per month.

- Remote/virtual programmes (for enrolled VPG students): EUR 780 per month; hybrid remote/day option: EUR 800 per month. Weekly and short‑term remote lesson options are also offered (examples: EUR 130/week for VPG students' short remote weeks; external remote participants have different weekly/monthly rates).

(Where the school's standard fee presentation is monthly, an annual figure may be calculated by multiplying the monthly rate by the number of billed months in your contract.)

Billing schedule and payment terms

- Advance deposit (EUR 500) is due at contract signing by the admission deadline given for the intake stage; the admission documents state specific calendar deadlines for paying the advance (examples given for first intake stages and final dates). The advance is credited toward the annual tuition.

- Regular tuition is presented as a monthly fee in the school's published price list. The school's admission documents and service pages show payment by financial transfer to the school account and reference payments being made by bank transfer; the school account number (SEB) is published in the school documents. Specific instalment schedules and contractual payment deadlines (termly or monthly due dates) are set in the signed education contract.

Boarding / accommodation

- Boarding is not offered as a paid service; the school operates day programmes (example: preschool/day schedule shows the daily programme and meal provision within day hours). No boarding fee line items or boarding accommodation services are published.

Other costs and optional fees

- School uniform: students wear a school uniform; uniform purchase is handled through the school's uniform supplier and ordering link is provided. Cost depends on items ordered from the supplier.

- Supplementary / optional services (examples and published rates):
- Short remote lesson weeks for enrolled students: EUR 130 per week.
- Remote lesson weeks for non‑enrolled participants: EUR 180 per week.
- Remote monthly access (non‑VPG): EUR 225 per month (homeschooling/virtual school options).
- Summer camps (per month): from EUR 90 per month (programme dependent).
- Individual tutoring / consultations: from EUR 15 per session.

- Meal provision is part of the preschool day (three meals per day indicated for the pre‑school programme); separate meal charges for other stages are not shown as a standalone published fee.

Discounts and special fee arrangements

- A published discount is available for long‑term enrolled families: students who have been enrolled at the school for more than eight years (counting from Grade 1) are eligible for a 25% reduction of the tuition fee.

Refund information

- The advance deposit is treated differently depending on the programme and the admission document language: for the IB Diploma admissions document a EUR 500 deposit is described as refundable; for other admissions the advance deposit language includes the statement that if a family ‘‘decides otherwise'' the advance is non‑refundable. The advance deposit is normally credited toward the annual tuition.

Fee payment options (methods and account details)

- Payments are accepted by bank (financial) transfer to the school account (published account number: A/s. LT86 7044 0600 0033 5334, AB SEB bank). Admission and testing documents and the school contact pages specify payment by financial transfer and include the bank account details for transfers and payment descriptions. No public listing of card‑payment or other online payment methods is published in the school's fee pages.

Notes to parent (concise)

- Entrance testing fee: EUR 150. Advance deposit: EUR 500 (credited to annual tuition). Tuition is presented as monthly rates by programme (examples above: Preschool EUR 490/month, Primary EUR 690/month, IB EUR 730/month, Double Diploma EUR 850/month, Remote EUR 780/month). Payments are made by bank transfer to the published school account; the IB deposit and other admissions deadlines and refund conditions vary by programme.

Admissions

Admissions

Admission to Vilnius Private Gymnasium offers two pathways: entry to the 1st grade and admission to the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IB DP).

1) Admission to the 1st grade (2026–2027)
- Vilnius Private Gymnasium prioritizes pupils from its own pre-school groups for entry to the 1st grade. If the number of applicants exceeds available places, students are selected competitively based on an abilities test (oral and written) administered by the school psychologist, with test results discussed with parents individually.
- For pre-school group parents of Vilnius Private Gymnasium, applications to 1st grade are due by March 2; contracts are signed and an advance payment is made by March 16. The advance payment is non-refundable if the family changes plans. If contracts are not signed by March 16, the student may join the admissions competition for remaining places.
- For applicants not from Vilnius Private Gymnasium's pre-school groups, applications to 1st grade are submitted with contracts signed and the advance payment paid by May 4; before this, the child completes a general abilities test. The required documents include a copy of the child's birth certificate or other identity document.
- The advance payment for 1st grade is 500 EUR, paid to the school's account and credited toward the annual tuition. Contract signing and the advance payment are coordinated with the administrative contact, and families may arrange an interview and test registration by contacting the school.
- Test results for abilities tests are not shown, copied, or issued to applicants.

2) Admission to the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IB DP) (2026–2027)
- The school follows an inclusive IB Diploma Programme admission policy. Candidates from any educational system may apply if they meet the required criteria. Applicants must have completed basic education (or an equivalent certificate) and pass entrance examinations in Mathematics and English, and participate in an admission interview. Students who have completed the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme in English and hold a completion certificate are exempt from the English entrance examination.
- Admission stages:
- Stage 1: by March 15, 17:00.
- Stage 2: by March 20, 14:00. Applications to take entrance exams should be sent to jelena.silova@gimnazija.lt, and a testing fee of 150 EUR applies. Entrance examinations cover English and Mathematics, followed by a motivational interview in English by April 1.
- Stage 3: by April 17.
- Stage 4: by May 8. Results and admission decisions are announced, with outcomes communicated individually by phone or email. Contracts are signed, required documents are provided, and a refundable deposit of 500 EUR is paid.
- Stage 5: from May 8 to June 26. Further enrollment is possible if vacancies remain.

The school's IB DP admission policy emphasizes inclusivity and accepts candidates from diverse educational backgrounds, with language considerations adjusted for those completing IB MYP in English as described above.

Scholarships

The school offers three scholarship categories:
- Scholarships for gifted and talented students, designed for those whose talents might be overlooked due to financial barriers.
- Scholarships for large families, to ensure access to quality education regardless of family finances.
- Scholarships adapted to life stages, providing support as students progress through different stages of their education.

Apply for a scholarship place when applying for admission.

In addition, for 6–12th grade students, the school operates a scholarship program funded by Vilnius Private Gymnasium. The program awards scholarships based on academic achievement, character, and conduct, with the aim of supporting students who can contribute to a positive school environment and demonstrate leadership potential. Available scholarship levels include substantial tuition coverage, with 100% (full tuition), 50%, or 25% coverage depending on two-year academic averages or entrance exam results. Scholarships are awarded for one academic year. Applicants must complete the scholarship application form and participate in a motivational interview, where extracurricular activities are also assessed. Decisions on scholarship awards are made by the end of June each year.
