Fees
Application fees

- Kaunas Jonas Jablonskis Gymnasium is a state (municipal) budgetary general-education gymnasium; there is no one-time application or tuition charge for students admitted to state‑funded places.

Tuition fees by school year (per term / per year)

- There is no tuition charged for day‑time, state‑funded education at the gymnasium for any year group (basic/secondary / gymnasium years). No per‑term or per‑year tuition applies to state‑funded pupils.

- The gymnasium may offer or administer optional paid services (for example: extracurricular programmes, certain non‑formal courses, special events, paid projects or other additional services). The prices for any such paid services are set by the owner (Kaunas City Municipality) or by contracted providers and are charged separately from core, state‑funded tuition. These optional fees are not the same as tuition and apply only to the specific paid service.

Billing schedule and payment terms

- Core state‑funded education is not billed. For any optional paid services, billing frequency, due dates and late‑payment rules are determined in the service terms set by the owner or by the contracted provider; common municipal practice is to set clear payment periods (monthly or per‑term) and to require payment by the deadlines specified in the service agreement or school notice. Municipal payment rules for school‑related paid services are administered under Kaunas City payment procedures.

Boarding fees (if applicable)

- The gymnasium operates as a day school (no boarding facilities). There are therefore no boarding places or boarding fees.

Other costs or fees (typical items parents should expect)

- Uniform / school-branded clothing: Official school merchandise and uniforms for Kaunas Jonas Jablonskis Gymnasium are available through contracted suppliers; purchases of uniforms or branded items are paid by parents where required. Orders are handled online by the supplier.

- International Baccalaureate (IB) examination and associated programme costs: the gymnasium is an authorised IB World School and students registered for IB assessments have IB assessment/examination-related costs that are handled through the school (IB subject examination fees, registration fees and any applicable school/IB administration charges). The municipal/school arrangements cover some institutional costs but individual student IB exam fees may apply.

- Meals / school catering: Meals and any paid catering for pupils (for pupils who are not eligible for free meals) are charged separately according to Kaunas City municipality and provider arrangements; parents may be charged per meal or on a periodic schedule depending on the service.

- Extracurricular activities, clubs and trips: Participation in optional after‑school clubs, paid non‑formal programmes, field trips, competitions or special projects may require separate fees (charged per activity or per term) set by the school or contracted providers.

- Textbooks and learning materials: General‑education textbooks for pupils are supplied under national arrangements; pupils in general education are provided with required textbooks in accordance with national rules. Parents may still pay for personal stationery, specific course materials, or voluntary additional resources.

Refund information

- Refunds for paid services (uniform purchases, paid extracurriculars, catering fees, IB exam fees, and other optional services) follow the contractual and municipal terms that govern each paid service or provider. The gymnasium's statutes specify that paid services and their prices are set by the owner; refund entitlement, timing and method depend on the provider's and the owner's published conditions.

Fee payment options

- Bank transfer to the designated school or municipal account is a standard method for paying school and municipality‑administered fees. For supplier‑provided goods (for example, uniform orders) and private providers, online payment (card/online gateway) is commonly used. Payments to contracted catering or activity providers follow the payment channels those providers and the municipality specify. Municipal payment procedures set the formal payment mechanisms and terms for municipality‑administered school fees.

Summary (key points for parents)

- There is no application or tuition charge for state‑funded, day‑time places at Kaunas Jonas Jablonskis Gymnasium for any year group.

- The school does not provide boarding; no boarding fees apply.
