Fees
Application fees
- There is no application fee for admission to the general education programmes at Alytus St Benedict's Gymnasium for pupils entering the normal day programmes.

Tuition fees by year group (day school)
- General primary, lower secondary and upper secondary (gymnasium) education is provided as a municipally funded/VšĮ institution; there is no tuition charged to pupils for standard day-time schooling.

Optional / supplementary fees (by service)
- Extended-day ("pailgintos dienos") group fee: a fixed monthly parent contribution is charged for participation in extended-day supervision and non-formal learning activities. The municipal policy increased the fixed monthly charge to EUR 25 per month for school extended-day group services (effective from the municipal decision implementation date noted by the municipality). Extended-day services are provided up to the allotted hours (varies by grade) and the fee is charged on a monthly basis.
- School cafeteria / pupil meals: school meals for pupils are organised through a catering provider (UAB "Genutės sodyba"). Some pupils are entitled to free meals under the municipal social-support rules (eligibility based on household income thresholds); paid meal arrangements for other pupils are operated through the school's meal service procedures.
- Swimming pool and sauna use: pool and sauna services run by the gymnasium are subject to a municipally approved price list. Alytus city general-education pupils are entitled to organised swimming lessons at the school pool without charge when scheduled under the agreed programme; other uses of the pool/sauna (public sessions, external bookings, or non-school user access) are charged according to the approved price list.
- Non-formal / extracurricular activity fees (external providers): some non-formal activities (for example external swimming classes run by a third-party provider) require separate monthly payments to the activity provider; those arrangements typically require payment in advance for the month and follow the provider's payment and refund rules.

Billing schedule and payment terms
- Extended-day group fees are billed and collected on a monthly basis; the municipal framework and school procedural documents set the monthly billing cadence and due dates. Late pickup or overtime beyond the scheduled service hours may attract additional fixed penalties as specified in the extended-day rules.
- Meal charges (for pupils who pay) are administered according to the school's meal service procedures and the catering contract; meal payments are organised per the school's billing cycle for catering services. Eligible pupils receive free meals under municipal social support rules.
- Pool/sauna use is charged per the municipal price list adopted by the Alytus City Council; organised school swimming lessons for city pupils are scheduled and provided without charge when run under the school programme.

Boarding fees
- The gymnasium is a day school; there is no boarding provision and therefore no boarding fees.

Other costs (uniforms, equipment, trips, materials, lost-property fees, etc.)
- School uniforms are not listed as a compulsory charged item in the standard municipal/VšĮ provision; parents should expect occasional costs for study materials, textbooks where applicable, school trips, extra-curricular paid activities, and personal equipment. Specific optional charges (for example costs for some competitions, trips or external programmes) are invoiced separately when required. Meal-related incidental charges (special menus, extra portions, or late pickup penalties) are handled according to the relevant service rules.

Refund information
- Extended-day group fees and many extracurricular monthly-provider fees are generally collected in advance and, under the school/municipal procedural rules and common provider contracts, are not reduced or refunded for individual short-term absences; refunds or adjustments are governed by the specific service rules or provider contract and by applicable municipal regulations. For third-party activity providers, monthly fees paid in advance are typically non-refundable except where the provider's terms specify otherwise.

Fee payment options (methods commonly used for the school's charged services)
- Standard payment methods for municipal school services in Alytus commonly use invoicing and bank transfer (payment to the school's or provider's bank account) and the school issues payment instructions as part of the service agreement or invoice; external providers may accept direct monthly bank transfers or card payments per their own payment rules. Specific accepted payment channels for any given charged service (bank transfer details, online payment options or in-person payment arrangements) are provided in the individual service invoice or contract.

Short summary of available numeric fees and billing facts (2026/2027 academic-year focus)
- Tuition / application fee for the regular day programmes: none (no charge).
- Extended-day group parent contribution: EUR 25 per month (municipal policy level charge applied to school extended-day services).
- Pool / sauna services: charged according to a municipal price list approved by the Alytus City Council; organised swimming lessons for Alytus city pupils when included in the school programme are provided without charge.

Note on data availability: public-school core tuition is municipally funded and therefore no tuition or application fees are charged. Specific numeric price lists for school-managed pool/sauna sessions, the school cafeteria's paid-meal prices for non-eligible pupils, and the school's bank-account/payment details are set in formal price lists, service contracts and procedural documents that are published as the school and the Alytus City Council approve them; the municipal decision documents and the school's service pages define the applicable rules (extended-day monthly charge, pool/sauna price-list approval, meal-provider arrangements). Some service-level refund and payment rules are determined by third-party activity providers under separate contracts.
