Admissions

1. Inquiries and initial contact. Inquiries concerning admissions are welcomed and important as families decide on the best school for their child. ESG's Admissions Department handles all administrative and admissions needs, including assisting with applications and administering entry assessments. The department coordinates registration, withdrawal procedures, and communications with families, and maintains students' information files.

2. Application and assessment. Prospective families submit an application and ESG staff assist with the process. Entry assessments are administered to determine suitability for the year group. For KG, Reception, Year 1 and Year 2, an interview is conducted as part of the admissions process. The Admissions team informs families of outcomes and next steps.

3. Transfer documents and guidelines. Transfers require the following documents: copy of report from the previous academic year; behaviour report from the previous school (Year 7 onwards); final transcript (Year 10 onwards); English and maths assessment (Years 3–10); an interview for KG, Reception, Year 1 and Year 2; the application; two passport-sized photos; child and parent passport copies; and, for non-Kuwaiti applicants, a copy of the residence visa.
