Hayat Universal Bilingual School (HUBS) is a bilingual early-years and primary school in Sabah Al Salem, Kuwait City (Street 109) serving children aged about 3 to 15. The school implements a North American / Canadian-style curriculum in English while delivering Arabic-language subjects, Islamic education and national social-studies through the local national curriculum; HUBS' wider group also operates a British Columbia (Canadian) offshore programme in its Qatar hub. English is the main language of instruction for the North American/Canadian curriculum; Arabic (including Qur'an and Islamic studies) is taught and used by Arabic staff across the school. Early years provision (Pre-K, KG1, KG2) emphasises inquiry, language development and early numeracy, and the elementary programme lists subjects such as English language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, IT, art and physical education. Published materials describe classroom learning centres (block play, computer, art), a full-day kindergarten routine with gym and movement activities, and the school's bilingual, integrated curriculum approach.
