Fees

Annual tuition at QSI International School of Kosovo ranges from EUR 3,600 to EUR 19,000 for 2026/27.

Application / Registration Fee

- There is a one-time, non-refundable registration/application fee of USD 300 per student.

Tuition fees by year group (annual and typical term structure)

- Preschool (half-day): USD 3,600 per year.
- Preschool (full-day): USD 4,600 per year.
- Grades K–12 (5-year-old class and above): USD 19,000 per year.

- Tuition is ordinarily invoiced by academic term; QSI schools typically divide the annual tuition into three term payments (first term due at the start of the school year, with subsequent term invoices in mid‑year and late winter/early spring).

Capital Fund Fee

- A Capital Fund (CF) fee is charged for students in the K–12 age range. For QSI International School of Kosovo this Capital Fund fee has been published at USD 11,200 per year for K–12 students.
- Capital Fund fees at QSI schools are generally invoiced as an annual charge and many QSI campuses permit splitting the CF across the same term schedule used for tuition (examples of term-split schedules are used at other QSI schools).

Billing schedule and payment terms

- Tuition and other annual charges are normally billed in three payments per academic year (first-term, second-term, third-term). Payment deadlines are tied to term start dates and to the invoice dates issued by the school.
- The registration/application fee is payable at the time of acceptance and is non‑refundable.
- Late-enrollment or mid‑term enrollment fees and prorated term rules apply when students enroll after a term begins; these policies are applied according to the school's fee policy and tuition contract.

Boarding fees

- QSI International School of Kosovo operates as a day school; no boarding programme or boarding fees are published.

Other costs and optional charges

- School lunch/cafeteria: lunchtime provision is available and billed separately; meal charges are an additional cost beyond tuition.
- Transportation / bus service: where provided, bus/transportation is optional and incurs additional charges billed separately.
- Uniforms: QSI International School of Kosovo is noted as not requiring a uniform; therefore no uniform fee is listed as a required charge. Optional activity‑ or sport‑related clothing or equipment costs may apply where relevant.
- Miscellaneous fees: incidental fees such as examination fees, field trips, extracurricular activity fees, school supplies, or special program fees may be charged in addition to tuition and are billed as appropriate. This is standard practice across QSI campuses.

Refund information and withdrawal terms

- The registration/application fee is explicitly non‑refundable.
- Capital Fund fees and tuition refund/withdrawal rules follow the school's published fee policy and the terms of the enrollment/tuition contract; QSI campuses commonly apply prorating rules for very short enrollments and may reverse discounts if a student withdraws before the end of the year. Parents should follow the deadlines and withdrawal procedures stated in the official enrollment agreement to determine any applicable refunds or charges.

Fee payment options

- Bank transfer (wire) to the school's account is the standard payment method for term tuition and larger annual charges.
- Online admissions/registration portals (OpenApply or similar) are used for application and registration payments; those portals commonly accept card payments for registration deposits or application fees, while term tuition invoices are typically paid by bank transfer per the school invoice instructions.
- Payment details, invoice references, and any permissible alternative methods (credit/debit card, in‑person payment, or international payment services) appear on school invoices and enrollment contracts; payment processing rules and any transaction fees are specified in the school's invoice instructions.

Admissions

Admissions

1) Admissions Policy. Admissions are open to students of any race, religion or ethnicity who can benefit from the educational services provided by QSI Kosovo. The school offers a quality English-medium, North American international education, and local citizens seeking education in English are also accepted. The admissions policy is guided by the QSI mission and values.
2) English Language Requirements. QSI Kosovo accepts students with no prior English experience from preschool through the US Grade 8 level. Secondary students must demonstrate increasing levels of English proficiency through an on-site English language assessment. Older students with little or no English may require additional years of study to graduate with a QSI diploma.
3) Class Placement by Age and Progress. Students are typically assigned to classes by age; traditional U.S. grade names are not used at QSI Kosovo. Placement also considers progression, with minimum credit requirements for secondary levels (50 credits for Secondary II, 100 credits for Secondary III, 150 credits for Secondary IV). Exceptions may be made through a documented process involving the Director, Director of Instruction, teachers, counselor, and parents.
4) Special Needs and Early Childhood Program. QSI Kosovo admits students with limited learning needs. For moderate to severe disabilities, the school reviews evaluations, reports, IEPs, or referrals to determine whether an appropriate program can be provided. Students with needs the school cannot effectively address may be denied admission. The Early Childhood Program operates 3-year-old and 4-year-old preschool; a 2-year-old program is not offered for the 21-22 school year; if a 2-year-old program is available, toilet training is required for admission.
5) Initial Testing & Placement. Transcripts are considered but may not reflect mastery. Testing to establish a baseline in English and Mathematics, along with other subject assessments as needed, informs placement and may include Measures of Academic Progress (MAP), prerequisite course assessments, a writing sample, end-of-year assessments, and other assessments as appropriate. Homeroom assignments are based on credits and age, and parents are involved in discussing strengths, needs, and graduation planning. Final placement decisions are made by a placement team that includes teachers and school administrators and are documented.
