Introduction

Braeburn Imani International School is a co-educational, boarding day and residential community in Kenya. The school follows the British National Curriculum with additional opportunities to broaden and extend learning. Boarding Arrangements
Full boarding and weekly boarding are available. There are four houses on site: Serengeti (junior boys), Zion (junior girls), Sahara (senior boys), and Shaba (senior girls), each accommodating up to 12 students. - Late payment surcharge: 1.25% per month on overdue amounts.
- Withdrawal notice: A full term's written notice, acknowledged by the headteacher, is required for withdrawals. If valid notice is not given, a full term's fees are payable in lieu of notice.
- The Board may alter fees on five months' notice.

Refund information

- The registration fee is non‑refundable.
- Refundable deposits are returned at the end of the pupil's final term after clearance by the headteacher; deductions may be made for losses or breakages.

In EYU and KS1, pupils are supported in mainstream classes, while KS2 and KS3 beginners undergo an intensive English course for one hour daily for ten weeks, withdrawn from Literacy, preferably in the morning.

1. The school follows the Braeburn Group of International Schools' admissions policy. 2. All applicants must provide copies of their passport or birth certificate, the previous two reports, and the leaving certificate from the previous school. 3. Age requirements are defined by year group with August 31 cutoffs, covering Pre-Creche through Year 11. 4. Year group placement is based on age. In exceptional circumstances a child may be placed in a lower year, based on substantial evidence; the school does not place children above their age band. 5. If a year group is full, new admissions will be placed on a waiting list. Waiting lists operate on a first-come, first-served basis, with priority potentially given to siblings of children who already have a place in the school. 6. Admission testing is used before and after admission to assess access to the curriculum and inform target setting. English as an additional language support is provided with varying levels by stage. A medical form must be completed after joining, and one term's notice is required if leaving.
