Admissions

Admissions

1. Eligibility by level. The academy uses specific admission criteria by level: Kindergarten accepts a child who has reached three years eight months in the nursery; the child aged four years six months enters the preparatory class. Lower elementary admissions apply to Grade 1 at age six (birthdates from January 1 to December 31) in the year of enrollment. Students in Grades 1–3 undergo a personal interview with the head of the stage to assess their level. Grades 4 and 5 admissions are based on the student's school records, and Grade 6 students take a placement exam.

2. Scholarships. New students take the scholarship exam beginning in Grade 9 through Grade 12, contingent on continuing enrollment in the academy. General secondary scholarships are confirmed after the ministry results for the second semester.

3. Registration timelines and process. Returning students may register in the academy from the first of May each year until the end of the month; those who miss the deadline are considered withdrawn and lose registration priority. The academy opens for new admissions starting in April each year, reserving a seat for new students and beginning scholarship examinations every Saturday after the personal interview; after passing the scholarship exam, registration procedures are completed and documents are provided to the Student Affairs Department.

4. Notes. The academy reserves the right to refuse admission without giving reasons. Admission may be refused for a student whose average grade is below 70%. The academy may refuse to continue a student in the academy during the first month if the student violates the general rules.

5. Required documents. Kindergarten and Grade 1 require two certified copies of the birth certificate, immunization card, family book, two photos, and a copy of the parent's ID. Grades 2 and above require a complete student file from the previous school, the last grade certificate (first and second semester), an attested transfer letter, and for students coming from outside the Kingdom additional documents as specified; non‑Jordanians must provide a valid residence permit copy in addition to items (1–3); Palestinians must provide a no‑objection letter to proceed and be inspected in addition to items (1–3); and a copy of the parent's ID.

Scholarships

Scholarships are available for new students from Grade 9 through Grade 12, contingent on continuing at the academy. A scholarship exam is required for these grades; general secondary scholarships are confirmed after the ministry results for the second semester.
