École Française de Naples « Alexandre‑Dumas » is a French state‑approved primary and lower‑secondary school in Naples (Via Francesco Crispi 86), operating as an annexe of the Lycée Chateaubriand de Rome and a member of the AEFE network. The school follows the French national curriculum and provides schooling from maternelle to collège: maternelle (from 2 to 5 years), élémentaire (6–11 years) and collège (11–14 years, homologated through troisième). Teaching is delivered in French; pupils receive mandatory Italian instruction (three hours weekly from petite section) and English teaching is introduced in maternelle and continues through the primary years. At collège the school runs an enhanced language pathway (label PARLE) and offers additional modern and classical languages such as Spanish and Latin. On‑site facilities and resources cited by the school include a CDI / bibliothèque (centre documentaire) and the Salle Dumas for performances and events; the programme emphasises multilingual and cultural projects (archaeology partnerships, DELF preparation, sports cycles and regular cultural exchanges) and preparation for continuation to the Lycée Chateaubriand in Rome for lycée studies.
