Parent Experience

History

Oakridge was established in 2001 by a group of visionaries and began on 11 June 2001 in rented premises in Jubilee Hills. It now operates two Hyderabad campuses alongside branches in Vishakhapatnam, Bengaluru and Mohali. The school was managed by People Combine, an education management and consulting company founded by Naga Prasad Tummala and Y V Rajasekhar. In February 2019, Oakridge joined Nord Anglia Education, a global network spanning 76 schools in 31 countries. Nord Anglia Education collaborates with MIT and UNICEF, and offers professional development opportunities with MIT, King's College London and Juilliard for its teachers.

Community

Oakridge Gachibowli conducts CAS and Spoorthi Programme; since 2016, students make regular visits to Keshavnagar Government School to teach local students. Oakridge Bachupally hosted Hyderabad's first SDG Summit on 20 November 2023. Oakridge communities engage in family-inclusive events such as Grandparents Day, Sports Fests, CASnival and Navrang by Hamraahi.
