Fees
Application / Registration Fees
- QSI International School of Pápa requires a one‑time application/registration step and charges at least a one‑time placement or registration fee for new enrolments. The school's public admissions information confirms a registration/placement fee requirement but does not publish a numeric amount for Pápa.

Tuition fees by year group (per term and per year)
- No grade‑by‑grade or per‑term numeric tuition schedule for the 2026/27 academic year (or for 2025/26) is published for QSI International School of Pápa. A full numeric breakdown by year group and by term was not available in publicly listed school materials. As a result, exact per‑term and per‑year amounts for each year group cannot be provided here. QSI schools commonly structure tuition by age or year bands (for example: early years, primary, middle, secondary) and bill on a term or annual basis, but Pápa's published materials do not list the specific fee amounts.

Billing schedule and payment terms
- The school follows a term‑based billing model consistent with QSI practice: invoices are issued by term or annually and payments are expected on or before published term due dates. Discount structures for timely payment or full‑year payment are used at other QSI campuses; Pápa's public pages describe admissions and placement procedures but do not publish a complete numeric billing calendar or specific discount percentages for Pápa. Families are expected to settle accounts by the stated due dates to avoid restrictions on access to classes or records.

Boarding fees
- QSI International School of Pápa operates as a day school. No boarding programme or boarding fees are published for Pápa.

Other costs and recurring fees
- Capital fund / facility levy: QSI campuses commonly charge a capital fund or development fee as a separate one‑time or annual charge; Pápa lists standard QSI fee categories in admissions material but does not publish a Pápa‑specific capital fund amount.
- Transportation (school bus): Bus/transportation is frequently offered and billed separately at QSI schools; no Pápa‑specific bus fares were published.
- Meals / lunch: School lunch programs are commonly billed separately at QSI campuses; no Pápa‑specific meal pricing was published.
- Uniforms and P.E. kit: QSI schools typically require a P.E. kit and may supply a uniform list; Pápa's public admissions information does not publish a mandatory uniform cost or pricing list.
- Assessment, testing and exam fees: Some QSI campuses bill separately for standardized testing, external exams, or placement testing. Pápa's admissions process includes placement/assessment steps, but no public schedule of associated fees was found for Pápa.

Refund information
- QSI schools commonly designate application/registration and placement deposits as non‑refundable; other refund rules (partial‑term withdrawals, pro‑rated tuition, or forfeiture conditions) vary by campus. Pápa does not publish a full, itemised refund policy or numeric refund schedule in its publicly available admissions materials. Therefore, specific Pápa refund amounts or deadlines cannot be stated here.

Fee payment options
- QSI campuses typically accept bank transfer for tuition and related fees and may accept local payment methods; some campuses also accept cash. Credit/debit card acceptance is campus‑specific and not consistently published across QSI sites. Pápa's public contact and admissions listings do not publish an explicit, campus‑level list of accepted payment methods or the preferred banking details.

Summary of available fee information and next steps
- There is no publicly posted numeric fee schedule for QSI International School of Pápa for the 2026/27 academic year (nor for 2025/26) in the materials that are publicly available; the school's admissions pages confirm categories of fees (registration/placement, tuition, transport, capital fund, etc.) but do not publish the specific amounts for Pápa. Because the school has not published grade‑by‑grade or per‑term fee figures, exact per‑term and per‑year amounts by year group cannot be provided in this overview.
Academics

QSI International School of Papa teaches Bespoke Curriculum, Advanced Placement (AP) for students aged 3 to 18.

Curriculum

Mastery Learning drives the curriculum, with courses designed around unit outcomes and assessed by mastery rather than time spent. The seven departments are English / Literature, Mathematics, Cultural Studies, Science, Languages Other Than English, Creative and Applied Arts, and Personal Health and World Environmental Issues. New students take placement assessments in mathematics, reading, and writing to determine appropriate levels, with differentiated instruction and Intensive English support when needed. Each course is organized into units with defined outcomes and progress is reported through Status Reports and narrative progress notes; mastery is graded as A or B, with P indicating ongoing progress toward mastery. In Secondary, Advanced Placement courses are offered to prepare students for AP exams, and the QSI diploma is accredited by MSA, enabling direct applications to North American universities and other English-speaking universities worldwide. The school operates as an English-medium international school.

Student Teacher Ratio

Small class sizes support individualized instruction. The Intensive English department maintains very small teacher-student ratios.

Higher Education Progression

Graduates are prepared to apply to universities worldwide. The QSI diploma is accredited by MSA and designed to prepare students to enter colleges and universities. For universities outside North America, graduates are prepared for other English-speaking universities.

Gifted and Talented

Advanced Placement courses are offered for Secondary II, III, and IV; AP scores of 3 or higher can earn college credit.
Wellbeing

Social and Emotional Learning (SEL)

QSI Pápa builds character and a culture of success. Students grow in leadership, confidence, creativity, and the capacity to collaborate with others. The Success Orientations guide behavior: Kindness and Politeness, Group Interaction, Aesthetic Appreciation, Independent Endeavor, Concern for Others, Responsibility, and Trustworthiness. Social-emotional topics are taught through ongoing lessons and QSI's character education program. Trained teachers provide student support and refer to mental health practitioners and outside resources when needed.

Special Educational Needs (SEN)

Like many smaller QSI campuses, QSI Pápa does not offer direct learning support services for students with learning needs or behavioral challenges. Teachers may collaborate virtually with the Regional Learning Support Coordinator to develop academic and behavioral plans and provide ongoing classroom support. Interventions are implemented by the classroom teacher. If a child's needs cannot be supported with general classroom accommodations, QSI Pápa may not be the appropriate placement.

English as an Additional Language (EAL)

Intensive English is available for students whose English proficiency is below age-appropriate levels. The program accelerates English in speaking, listening, reading, and writing to enable success in mainstream classes. Intensive English classes are smaller than mainstream classes to allow targeted instruction and typically have six to eight students. The program helps students be successful and feel confident as learners.

Mental Wellbeing

QSI Pápa supports student mental well-being through trained teachers who provide support and refer students to mental health practitioners and outside resources when needed. The school is committed to teaching social-emotional needs and to helping students manage emotional and social situations and stay safe.

Safeguarding

QSI Pápa has a Child Protection Policy. All employees must report suspected abuse or neglect. The school aligns with CEESA Safeguarding and Child Protection statements and implements safeguarding policies and procedures, including regular training and safe recruitment practices. The Code of Conduct requires faculty, staff, volunteers, and parents to uphold safety standards and maintain appropriate boundaries.
Parent Experience

History

QSI Pápa is a private, non-profit, coeducational, college-preparatory international school and a member of Quality Schools International. It was founded in 2012 to provide a quality education in English for expatriates and local citizens seeking an English option for their children. The first meetings with QSI Executive Management and local stakeholders began about fifteen years ago, and the project became a reality in August 2012. The first school year, 2012–2013, ended with 61 students, and enrollment has grown to just over 80 students from 19 nations.

Community

With students from over 17 nationalities, QSI - International School of Pápa is committed to providing a safe and inclusive learning environment to all our students. Admission is open to students ages 3 to 18 who are invested in learning in English language classrooms and who adhere to the school's Student Code of Conduct. Students, staff, and parents participate in international festivals, winter and spring concerts, spirit days, field trips, monthly success orientation assemblies, and field days.

Parent Teacher Association (PTA)

All parents are encouraged to become actively involved with the school through the Parent Support Group. The goal of the PSG is to make the learning environment the best possible place for children. To achieve this, the PSG will: enhance communication among parents as well as between parents and the school; organize educational and social events for QSI students and/or the school community; assist classroom educators in ways that allow for more efficient and productive use of instructional time; enrich the regular classroom curriculum; promote fund-raising events in order to purchase items or services the school might not easily obtain; develop events that encourage student involvement and understanding of the local community or host country. To contact our Parent support group, please email psg.qsipapa@gmail.com.
Facilities

Academic Facilities

QSI Pápa uses a mastery-based learning model with Exit Outcomes—Knowledge, Competencies, and Success Orientations. Mastery learning drives instruction with a focus on mastery rather than time-based progression, and grades emphasize A or B (or P while in progress). The school offers an Advanced Placement program and provides guidance on college entrance requirements and SAT preparation. Diplomas include an Academic Diploma (240 credits) and a General Diploma (220 credits) with English, Mathematics, Science, Cultural Studies, and Languages Other Than English as core areas. Intensive English support is available, and the QSI diploma is accredited by the Middle States Association (MSA). Direct learning support services for students with learning needs are not offered on site; however, a Regional Learning Support Coordinator provides remote accommodations as needed.
