Introduction

The Lycée Français Jules-Verne follows the French national curriculum, educating pupils from primary through secondary levels. It aims to provide general knowledge and the skills students need to pursue higher education, while fostering their development as adults and citizens. The school's framework rests on neutrality and secularism, combined with a culture of work, attendance and punctuality, and a commitment to tolerance and respect for others' beliefs. Equality of opportunity and protection from all forms of violence are central, with a strong emphasis on democracy, pluralism, responsibility and autonomy. Enrollment implies adherence to life at the lycée, and the school maintains governance through the Local Evaluation Project and a Charter of Laïcité. The cycle terminal includes Première and Terminale, aligning with the French Baccalauréat sequence. The institution provides a French curriculum in an international context, supporting families seeking continuity with France's education system while preparing students for global opportunities and beyond.

The Essentials
Diving Deeper

Uniform Requirement

Uniform for ceremonies and official acts is a polo with the LFJV logo and long blue jeans-style pants; the polo is mandatory. In science laboratories at the secondary level, a lab coat is required, hair must be tied, and closed-toe shoes. For physical education, the outfit is a T-shirt, shorts or jogging pants, and appropriate sneakers; students should bring a bag to change, and showers are available.
Fees
Unable to provide a full fee schedule for Lycée Français Jules‑Verne (Guatemala)

I could not retrieve the school's published fee schedule for the 2026/27 or 2025/26 academic year because the school domain is inaccessible from my browsing attempt (access to the site and to its downloadable fee documents returned an access restriction). Consequently I cannot supply any of the requested line‑by‑line amounts (application fee, tuition per year/term by year group, billing schedule, boarding fees, uniform costs, refund policy, or exact payment methods).

What I located during the search
- The school uses an online enrolment/administration portal (Eduka) for admissions and billing processes.
- The school publishes internal regulations and administrative documents (for example a Spanish and a French version of the internal regulations) that are indexed, but the actual PDF files hosted on the school domain could not be opened due to access restrictions. These documents confirm the existence of formal fee and finance regulations but do not provide an accessible, extractable fee table from my session.

Summary of limitations and result
- No downloadable, accessible fee schedule with numeric amounts for 2026/27 or 2025/26 was retrievable during this search because the school's domain blocked access to the PDF and page resources I attempted to open.

If you need a fully detailed, parent‑ready fee breakdown (application fees; tuition per term and per year group; billing schedule and payment terms; boarding fees if any; uniforms and other charges; refund rules; and accepted payment methods), I am currently unable to extract those exact numbers from publicly available files due to the access restriction noted above. The items I attempted to access are documented in the sources cited.

Admissions

Admissions

The admission campaign for the 2026-2027 school year is open. Families who already have children at Lycée Jules Verne, as well as those enrolling new students, can complete the process via the Eduka portal. The school offers language pathways designed to support both French-speaking and non-French-speaking learners. Full details of the admission process are available in the Admission Procedure 2026–2027. Applications must be submitted by Friday, May 15, 2026. The school canteen is mandatory for all students from pre-primary to Grade 12.

Admission procedure for the 2025-2026 school year (subject to places available, differentiated into three cases based on prior schooling):
Case 1: A student enrolled in a public or contract-based French school in France or in a French school abroad recognized by the Ministère de l'Éducation Nationale in the previous school year or the current school year, and with no interruption of schooling, will be admitted to the class shown on the transfer notice on the livret or on the quarterly/semestral report. For entry into the 2nde, 1ère and Terminale, the orientation dialogue form will be taken into account. Admission of these students will be prioritized, but always subject to places available.
Case 2: A student enrolled in a school not recognized by the Ministère de l'Éducation Nationale in the previous year or the current year, or having had an interruption of schooling in the recognized network for more than three months and wishing to enroll starting from the CP (the first year of primary school): The student must undergo level assessments. These assessments are designed according to the levels expected by the curriculum. In elementary, a teacher handles the written and oral assessments. In secondary, the student will be assessed in different subjects according to the class level. In certain particular cases (for example visa procedures), and with the favorable opinion of the Head of Establishment, when technically possible, the assessments may be organized in a public or private school in France or in a French school abroad recognized by the Ministère de l'Éducation Nationale. The admission decision, as well as the level at which the student will be admitted, rests ultimately with the Head of Establishment based on the admission protocol and after the advice of the principal or the teachers concerned.
Case 3: A student entering kindergarten: For students seeking admission to kindergarten, a period of discussion and observation will be organized with a member of the Administration to facilitate integration. Admission will be prioritized for students of French nationality, but always subject to places available.
Waiting list: If there are no places available, a waiting list will be established according to the priorities stated above.
Admission tests: The non-refundable admission test fees for the current year are as follows: 1,000 Rand for elementary; 1,500 Rand for collège and lycée. Admission will be prioritized for French-nationality students, but always subject to places available. Note that for non-French-speaking students, a meeting with the Administration will be necessary to study the request and to set up a personalized language-support project.
