Admissions

Admissions

1. Submit the Registration Form. The registration form is the first, non-binding step in the enrolment process. After submission, contact details are collected and availability is checked; you will be contacted. If there is no place in the corresponding grade, the child's name is added to the waiting list. Enrolments are accepted all year round, and most children enroll in spring for an August/September start.
2. Consultation with the School Management. An interview with a member of the school management is arranged to confirm the educational offer matches your child's needs. An application for admission is sent to you to fill out completely and return to the school. During the interview, questions are clarified, the educational concept is presented, and a tour of the school is provided; a video conference is possible if visiting isn't possible.
3. Trial Days. Your child is welcome to experience the SIS environment for one or two days. It is important that your child feels comfortable with us – the trial days are a first introduction. Trial days help both sides assess fit and begin to build familiarity with the school.
4. Signing the School Contract. After receipt and positive assessment of your application for admission, a school contract is drawn up. Please sign the contract and return it to the school. We look forward to welcoming your child to SIS Germany.

Waitlist

If a year group or class is full, the SIS schools maintain waiting lists. To secure a place, enquire about capacity early, preferably in the spring.
