Located at Ramaweg in Bielefeld's Gadderbaum district, the Greek Gymnasium-Lyceum of Bielefeld is a Greek state-funded supplementary school. Since 2017–2018 the Gymnasium and Lyceum operate alongside the Primary on a single campus. The school follows the Greek system (primary 1–6, Gymnasium 7–9, Lyceum 10–12) and all subjects are taught in Greek, with German language study to support future study in Germany. A bespoke curriculum enables Greek university entrance exams; success permits entry to Greek universities or recognition in Germany as Mittlerer Bildungsabschluss when appropriate. Since 2010 the Greek schools in Bielefeld have functioned as recognized supplementary schools. A Computing Laboratory is planned for a modern upgrade, shared with the Primary School and funded by the school units and Parents' Association. The program emphasizes science and culture—Eratosthenes experiments, DLR School Lab visits, e-twinning, Atlas of Migrant Flows, photography and theatre, Greek-language/cultural activities, and outdoor wellbeing. Staff collaborate across units to support student development.
