Parent Experience

History

For more than 43 years, we have been forming students to develop their abilities and build their own knowledge. The idea of having a bilingual school in the western zone emerged in 1977, when a group of visionary people recognized the need for Santa Ana to have a bilingual and personalized education, and they began working to convince the owner of Escuela Panamericana of San Salvador to establish a branch in this city, giving rise to Escuela Panamericana de Santa Ana. The school operated there for two years. Due to socio-political problems, operations in the city ended, and a group of parents purchased Escuela Panamericana in November 1980, giving rise to Escuela Interamericana; the deed of incorporation was signed on January 31, 1981. In 1994, as enrollment grew, the shareholders' assembly decided to seek land for the construction of its own facilities, locating in the El Trébol area, comprising 2.5 blocks, with all buildings later erected to meet educational requirements, becoming the first bilingual institution founded in the interior of the country, with 30 years of academic excellence and solid prestige.

Community

The school prepares students to be global citizens through a bilingual system with high international educational standards, grounded in ethical and moral values to meet the demands of a globalized world. The mission is to prepare students to be citizens of the world through bilingual education, and the vision is for students to achieve professional excellence with critical thinking and social responsibility in a changing and diverse world. The educational offering includes Preschool (Parvularia) from ages 3 to 6, Primary from ages 7 to 12, and Secondary from ages 13 to 18, focusing on mathematics, science, language, and social studies. The school has strategic alliances to form tomorrow's leaders with Santillana, MINEDUCYT, College Board, and CIS-accredited status, and hosts Noticias y Guías with items such as a student representing El Salvador in MOS 2026 and Tae Kwon Do club events.
