The British School, Alexandria is an independent, English‑language day school in Alexandria (Kafr Abdo/Roushdy), Egypt, that follows the National Curriculum for England. It caters for pupils from the Early Years/Foundation Stage through Sixth Form (ages 3–18) and prepares students for IGCSE and AS/A‑level examinations. Instruction is in English; Arabic and French are taught as additional languages. The school operates across several campus buildings (including Abou Ela Villa, the Wilson Building and the Stables) and provides specialist facilities such as music and art rooms, a children's kitchen, interactive whiteboards in classrooms and at least two IT suites (one used for music technology and composition). Classes are described as small and often supported by teaching assistants; the school offers a broad programme of after‑school activities and has run regional citizenship initiatives such as Young Arab Voices.
