Billing schedule, payment timing and discounts
- Installment structure: First installment 30%, second installment 40%, third installment 30%.
- A sibling discount of 5% is applied for the second and third child.
- Following an offered place, the securing payment must be made promptly (the school requires the one‑time payment within 7 working days of an offer; admissions communications also indicate offered places should be secured within the time window stated by Admissions).
Boarding
- Metropolitan School operates a day‑school schedule (regular day ends at 3:00pm) and does not publish any boarding/hostel fees or boarding facilities.
Other costs and typical additional fees
- Uniform: Uniforms are sold at the Met Uniform Shop on campus; a price list is provided by the school for the academic year and the uniform shop hours are published. Contact details for the uniform supplier (Kamy Store) are listed.
- Transportation (school bus): Bus service is offered as a two‑way service; transportation fees are charged and transportation fees are non‑refundable. Contact details for the Transportation office are provided for route and fee enquiries.
- After‑School Care (ASC) and co‑curricular activities (SMC): These are additional payable services. ASC packages and SMC enrollment fees are payable through the Accounting Department; SMC and ASC fees are described as non‑refundable and are billed as monthly or per‑round where applicable.
- Field trips and outings: Trip registration payments are collected and are non‑refundable unless there is medical evidence preventing participation. Trip payments must be returned via the class/homeroom process and the Accounting Department will not accept late trip payments.
- Incidental fees: Replacement ID/guardian cards and other small administrative charges are billed (for example, re‑issuing a lost ID/guardian card is listed as an administrative charge payable at the Accounting Office).
Refund information
- The securing/registration installment is explicitly non‑refundable.
- Transportation fees are non‑refundable.
- SMC and ASC fees and most activity/field‑trip fees are non‑refundable; field‑trip refunds may be made only with documented medical evidence.
