Introduction

Uniform Requirement
School Uniform and PE kit including tracksuits are available from the School Shop in the Upper Primary Building (Technology Centre). For items supplied by the School Shop, no substitute uniform is allowed. Our uniform is smart and practical and gives the students a sense of belonging. The uniform list for each age group is available from the School Office and on the Parent Portal.

Food Options
CAFETERIAS: The School Cafeteria on the ground floor of the Secondary School building provides drinks, snacks and nourishing hot and cold food, most of which is home-cooked on the premises. It offers fresh rolls and sandwiches and also has a lunch menu with dishes such as Meatballs with Pourgouri, Gingered Seafood Noodles, and Pennine Macaroni with Chicken; a vegetarian option is always offered. The HealthMe cafe on the ground floor of the Upper Primary Building serves freshly made juices, smoothies, coffees, teas and organic salads, wraps and snacks.

- The annual Re‑enrolment & Development fee is non‑refundable and non‑transferable; it guarantees a place up to the first Friday of Week 1 in Semester 1.

Refund information
- Deposit refund condition: the deposit fee is refundable provided written notice of withdrawal equal to a full academic semester is given in advance and the student account is cleared. The School admits SEND students only when needs are relatively minor and learning can be effectively addressed. A Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCo), Counsellor, and learning support assistants work with the student during school hours to adapt lesson plans to meet curriculum objectives, and may arrange additional after-school lessons if needed. Parent Experience

History
The Heritage Private School began in 1987 in Moni, a village near Limassol, with six pupils. It moved to the centre of Limassol in 1988 as the community grew, and in 1989 the UK National Curriculum was introduced and a Kindergarten for two‑year‑olds was created. Through the 1990s the school expanded with new buildings and land acquisitions to accommodate growing numbers, including a 4.5 donums site purchased in 1994 for a new school. In 2012 the school celebrated its 25th anniversary, the new Early Years School was completed, and in 2014 the Heritage Multifunction Hall opened.

Community
The Heritage Private School has a multicultural community with 55 nationalities represented and an international dimension in the curriculum. It fosters social responsibility and environmental awareness, with 11 CY GPP environmental awards and EMAS and ISO 14001 accreditation. The Multifunction Hall includes a lobby, a fully equipped stage with high quality audio-visual systems, two teaching/performance studios and changing rooms; the auditorium seats 700 and can host events such as drama productions, concerts and indoor basketball, volleyball or tennis. The Heritage Amphitheatre has a seating capacity of 1,300 for outdoor performances. The Early Years Building contains classrooms, offices, staff room, foyer, hall, library and a design technology room. The Primary Building comprises classrooms, offices, staff room, foyer, hall, computer laboratory and science laboratory. Every year The Heritage Private School admits new students in Pre-Nursery, Pre-Reception, Years 1, 7, 10-13. In all other Year Groups, available places depend on annual re-enrolment of existing students. For September 2026, the first round of admissions has been completed; families will be contacted if any places become available. The Heritage Private School is academically selective and approved by the Ministry of Education and Culture in Cyprus. Admissions Procedure: 1. Family completes Online Admissions Application. 2. Admissions will contact family to book Academic Assessment at School. 3. Academic Assessment: Early Years School (Pre-Nursery-Reception): Student and Family Interview; Lower Primary School (Years 1-3): Entrance Examinations in English and Mathematics and Interview; Upper Primary (Years 4-6): Entrance Examinations in English and Mathematics; Secondary School (Years 7-11): Entrance Examinations in English and Mathematics; Secondary School (Years 12-13): IGCSE qualifications and Student Interview. 4. A further Student and Family Interview may be requested for Years 4 to 11. 5. Admissions will contact family with the final decision on admissions. Enrolment Procedure (upon acceptance of place): 1. Family submits Application Form with all supporting documents within 7 days. 2. Application will be processed by the School. 3. Scholarships
The Ancoria/Sievert Larsson Excellence Scholarships offer partial awards to top students in Years 7, 10, 12, and 13, based on Cambridge and IGCSE/GCSE results.
