Introduction

Necat British College operates across two campuses in Northern Cyprus. The Lefkoşa campus is located at Hasan Alçıoğlu Sokak No:51, Hamitköy, and the Kyrenia campus at Zeytin Sokak No.45, Alsancak. The school is a private institution that offers a British Curriculum alongside BTEC Qualifications, supporting both traditional academic routes and vocational study. This combination provides learners with internationally recognizable qualifications aligned to UK study pathways while catering to varied interests and career goals. By serving families in North Cyprus, the college seeks to provide continuity for students who may transition between local and international education systems. The dual-campus arrangement enables access to a diverse learning community and a structured progression route from early years through to senior phases. The school's emphasis on a consistent, standards-based framework aims to prepare students for higher education and employment opportunities within and beyond North Cyprus. Wellbeing

Safeguarding

The school provides a reliable, safe and friendly atmosphere for every student. It operates within a family-like environment where rules are essential to ensure the safety of our children and to allow each student to learn effectively. General rules require mutual respect among students and with all adults, care for personal belongings and school property, and restrict bringing mobile devices; devices found may be confiscated and returned at the end of the day. The behaviour policy aims to develop self-discipline and responsibility for one's actions and to maintain safe learning conditions with mutual respect across the school community. The reward system reinforces good conduct through verbal praise, written praise from teachers to parents, and praise from senior management.
Languages

Language Provision

The school uses English as the language of instruction for NBC courses. Turkish is taught as a subject under the TRNC National Curriculum with a focus on reading, grammar and punctuation as well as speaking. English Language is included in NBC's IGCSE curriculum. German is offered as part of the AS/A-Level curriculum.
