Fees

Annual tuition at XV Gimnazija ranges from EUR 3,800 to EUR 7,600 for 2026/27.

Application fees

- No separate application fee is charged for submission of IB MYP or IB Diploma application forms; application forms and enrollment documents are used for admission.

Tuition fees by programme and year group

- IB Diploma Programme (DP), annual tuition (stated for the 2023/2024 school year): EUR 7,600.00 per year for foreign (non‑EU) students.

- IB Diploma Programme (DP), annual tuition (stated for the 2023/2024 school year): EUR 3,800.00 per year for Croatian and EU citizens.

- International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (MYP): the school confirms that tuition is charged for MYP (MYP4–MYP5 offered at the school), but a programme‑specific annual amount is not published in the MYP handbook. (MYP is part of the school's paid IB programmes.)

- Natural‑science/mathematics programme (PMG): tuition applies for students who are required by law/regulation to pay (for example, some non‑EU students); the full‑amount billing schedule for those students is set in the school's payment regulations. Specific per‑year PMG tuition amounts are not published in the available documents.

Per‑term / per‑installment detail

- For students paying under the IB/IBDP arrangements, the school's payment rules allow two primary methods:
- Monthly installments: the full annual tuition may be paid in 10 equal monthly installments, each due by the 15th day of the month for the month to which it applies (covering September through June).
- Single annual payment: the full annual tuition may be paid in one single payment by the contract deadline; a one‑time payment is eligible for a 5% discount on the full annual tuition if paid by that deadline.

- For students in the natural‑science/mathematics programme (where tuition is charged, e.g., certain non‑EU students), the full annual tuition is payable in two equal installments: on or before 15 September and on or before 15 January.

- For students who enroll after the start of the school year, tuition is calculated pro rata for the remainder of the school year; the first installment for late entrants is due immediately upon enrollment and subsequent installments fall due on the 15th of each month thereafter. For students who leave during the school year, a pro rata calculation applies to determine any refund or outstanding charge.

Billing schedule and payment terms (summary)

- Installment due dates: monthly installments due by the 15th of each month (September–June) for tuition paid in 10 installments; two installments due by 15 September and 15 January for the PMG two‑installment option.
- Late or missed payments: failure to pay installments can trigger a written reminder; repeated missed payments (specified thresholds in the school regulation) may result in contractual consequences including requirement to pay the full remaining annual tuition and possible termination of enrollment in the paid programme.
- Discounts: 5% discount for single annual payment (if paid by the contract deadline); a sibling reduction of 10% for the second and subsequent children attending IB programmes simultaneously; merit‑based reduction (IBDP) of up to 30% in specified excellence cases.

Boarding fees (if applicable)

- The school does not operate a boarding/dormitory programme; boarding fees are not applicable. The school is listed with a single daytime campus address and contact details for administrative and accounting offices.

Other costs and fees (examples and typical items)

- IB examination and administrative fees:
- Administrative fee for organizing IB Diploma examinations in the autumn session: EUR 100.00 for one exam, EUR 200.00 for two or more exams (school decision recorded by the school board). In addition, IBO/IB fees set by the International Baccalaureate Organisation for registration, subject fees, re‑marks or re‑sits apply and are charged to the payer according to IBO price lists.

- Individual native‑language tuition: if individual mother‑tongue instruction is provided for foreign students, that instruction is charged at half of the annual tuition for that individual native‑language course (where applicable).

- Textbooks and library materials: textbooks, library books and magazines are available for student use at no extra cost; parents are responsible for the cost of lost or damaged books.

- Field trips, excursions and optional international trips: costs for optional trips (for example the London field trip) and certain out‑of‑school activities are additional; some out‑of‑school activity costs may be financed from tuition funds for the programme but many excursions/agency‑arranged trips are financed by parents according to the activity's cost schedule.

- Extracurricular activities and optional workshops: participation is generally available for all students; occasional activity‑specific costs or material costs may be charged to parents depending on the activity.

Refund information

- Pro rata refunds and outstanding balances: if a student is withdrawn during the school year, tuition is adjusted on a pro rata basis; any prepayments remaining after calculation of all outstanding obligations are refundable to the payer. Conversely, if contractual payment obligations are not met, the school may claim full annual tuition and take collection steps under its procedures.

- IB exam re‑mark / retake charges: fees for re‑marks or re‑registration with the IBO are payable by the payer at the IBO price in force at the time of the request; the payer must settle these charges within the contractual payment term specified by the school (typically within 15 days of invoice).

Fee payment options and details

- Bank transfer to the school's IBAN is an established payment route; the school lists an IBAN for payments (HPB): HR09 2390 0011 1000 20837. The school's accounting office and billing are managed by the school's finance contacts.

- Payment by other methods (in‑person arrangements and invoicing) is handled through the school's secretariat and accounting office; specific accepted methods (cash, card, local bank transfer arrangements) are administered by the school's accounting office according to the contract of schooling. The payment method chosen by the payer is recorded in the schooling contract.

Items to note for budgeting

- The IB Diploma listed annual tuition amounts above are stated for the 2023/2024 school year; the school's published payment regulation describes the billing method, installment schedules, discount rules, sibling and merit reductions, and refund/termination conditions. IB‑specific examination and IBO charges apply in addition to school tuition and may include administrative fees set by the school for local organization of examination sessions.
