Founded in 2001 by the Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corporation, SMIC Private School International Division in Shanghai provides an American-style K-12 curriculum for foreign passport holders. The school prepares students for overseas universities through its extensive Advanced Placement (AP) courses, including AP Calculus, AP Statistics, and AP Computer Science.
