Malvern College Chengdu sits on a purpose-built campus in Xinjin County, south of Chengdu. Opened in 2015, it is the second international campus in the Malvern College family and serves about 1,100 pupils aged 3 to 18 with day and boarding options. The Primary Curriculum (Nursery to Year 6) is bespoke and bilingual, blending the Chinese National Curriculum with key elements of the English National Curriculum; in the Secondary School, pupils study Cambridge IGCSE and Cambridge A Levels, with IB (MYP) offered. English as a Second Language is studied alongside other subjects and is prepared for IELTS/TOEFL. The campus features a heated swimming pool, a multi-purpose indoor sports hall, and a theatre, complemented by British architectural features and modern design. The school is led by Headmaster Michael Urquhart. Co-curricular activities include sport, music, drama, art and debating; students participate in The Duke of Edinburgh's Award Scheme and Leadership and Study Skills programmes to develop leadership and study skills.
