Introduction

St. Michael's College School (SMCS) is Canada's only Catholic, Basilian, independent school for boys in Grades 7–12, preparing students for university studies in a values-driven, university-preparatory program. Admissions

Grades 7–12 are admitted. The two main entry points for candidates are Grade 7 and Grade 9, and applications are accepted at all other grade levels throughout the year depending on space. The Admissions Committee considers entrance-test results for Grades 7, 8 and 9, the last two years' final report cards, the present year progress report, parish and community involvement, extra-curricular activities, a teacher reference via the Student Profile Sheet, and a candidate interview; interviews are required.
