St. Michael's College School (SMCS) is Canada's only Catholic, Basilian, independent school for boys in Grades 7–12, preparing students for university studies in a values-driven, university-preparatory program. Founded in 1852, the campus sits on 11 acres near downtown Toronto with more than 300,000 square feet of learning space. The curriculum blends Liberal Arts with Catholic education and features a digitally integrated Intermediate Programme for Grades 7–8 and New Pedagogies for Deep Learning to develop collaboration, communication, creativity, critical thinking, and citizenship. Experiential Learning & Leadership connects classroom learning to real-world opportunities through Community Engagement and study in fields such as law, architecture, engineering, robotics, computer science, business, and accounting, complemented by an Outdoor and Experiential Education programme. Technology is embedded through a Bring Your Own Device programme for Grades 9–12 (since 2021). Facilities include the Arena, Eugene Melnyk Sports Field, the Design and Technology Lab, the Media Arts Lab, and the 440-seat Centre for the Arts.
