Gray Academy of Jewish Education is an independent JK-12 day school in Winnipeg that delivers the Canadian curriculum within a Jewish community. Serving students aged 3 to 18, General Studies follow Manitoba Education, while Judaic Studies are approved by Manitoba Education. In Elementary, English Language Arts and French, Math, Science, Social Studies, Art, PE and Music are taught with Hebrew, Israel Studies, T'filah, Tanach, Jewish Holidays and Jewish History. In High School, general and Judaic studies balance with electives and opportunities for leadership, service and the Duke of Edinburgh's Award. The school traces its roots to 1891 and sits on the Asper Jewish Community Campus, making Gray Academy Western Canada's only JK-12 Jewish day school. Facilities include a library with a Learning Lounge, Art and Music rooms, outdoor playgrounds, and access to the Gray Academy-Tough Duck Community Ice Rink and Rady JCC wellness facilities.
