Admissions

Admissions

1) Submit Your Application Form. Submit the online application through the myFA portal with a $275 non-refundable application fee. New users create an account, set a password, and start the application; returning users can log in to apply for a new child or a sibling. For September 2026 entry, a psycho-educational assessment dated no older than 2023 must accompany the application. 2) Submit Your Supporting Materials. After submitting the online application, return to the portal to upload all required supporting materials; applications are not considered complete until every required document is submitted. 3) Schedule Interview and Intake Assessment. Shortlisted candidates who meet preliminary entry requirements receive an invitation to book a family visit, including interview and intake assessment. 4) Receive Admissions Decision. Admissions decisions are shared within 1-2 months of the intake interview; if a child is placed in a waitpool, acceptance may occur later when a suitable opening becomes available; selection from the waitpool is based on best fit, not first-come-first-served; applicants are encouraged to apply year-round. For 2026-27 entry, rolling admissions are in effect with deadlines: Priority December 1, 2025; Second Round February 16, 2026; Third Round May 1, 2026; Rolling after May 1, 2026.

Scholarships

Bursary assistance is available to both current and new Fraser Academy families based on demonstrated financial need. Applications are submitted through Apple Financial Services (AFS) via Financial Aid for Canadian Students (FACS). Deadlines: currently enrolled families by November 17, 2025; new prospective families by the admissions deadline (February 16, 2026 for 2026-27 intake). The Bursary Committee determines the award after reviewing the AFS analysis and available funds. Bursaries are awarded on a blind, needs-based basis and are confidential. Annual applications are required; if parents/guardians are separated, both must apply. In addition to bursaries, Fraser Academy offers potential tuition relief options that can offset 20-70% of tuition, and families may also explore the Medical Expense Tax Credit (CRA accepted) and other external grants. Most awards are disbursed to current families meeting the deadlines; details are provided in the Tuition Assistance information.

Waitlist

A waitpool exists for admissions. If a child is placed in the waitpool, they have met entrance criteria, but there is not a ranking within the pool. Candidates are re-considered in the next round or when additional spaces open, and spaces can become available unexpectedly. There is no guarantee of acceptance from the waitpool, and families are encouraged to re-apply or remain in consideration as openings arise.
