Admissions

Edmonton Academy welcomes students with diagnosed learning disabilities and serves students with Specific Learning Disorders in reading, writing, and/or mathematics. To qualify, a student must have a psycho-educational assessment confirming one of the following diagnoses: Specific Learning Disorder in Written Expression (Dysgraphia); Specific Learning Disorder in Reading (Dyslexia); Specific Learning Disorder in Mathematics (Dyscalculia). Additional diagnoses may be present, but one of the above must be present. Students with cognitive or intellectual disabilities are not served. A diagnosis of ADHD or Autism Spectrum Disorder alone is insufficient for admission. Grades served: 3–12. High School Focus provides academic streams leading to a high school diploma. Knowledge and Employability courses are not offered currently.

Scholarships
